few questions: does "ok Google" work? and how is the camera compared to oxygen is 10.5.9? ( Oneplus 8 Pro )

Oneplus is not what it used to be... Really surprised about the bad Updates on the 8 Pro. They ruined their phone with their rushed Android 11 update , and now they are not able to provide regular security updates.. sad

I think u will get more unhappy since today is already 29th of January and besides India and EU, there is still no update of the problematic os available internationally.
Seen like customers are getting fooled around...

Ok so heres the thing i only chose op8 over s20 fe because of the said " superior " software or oxygen os that everyone talks about .... although its working great for me ... but im really fuckin surprised that only 2 region is getting update ... while their attitude is like international varients can keep complaining we don't give a shit.... i mean its been over 2 weeks now and no update for international ones ?!?!

Depends on who you ask i guess, for me it's been very good, only one minor bug, other than that no issues whatsoever.but from what i read on here i'm in the minority here as others seem to have quite a few problems.

If you deside to update the factory reset would be more be beneficial after the upgrade.
Personally I have rolled back my phone to 10.5.8, set it up and did a dirty upgrade to 11 Beta 5, just as a test to trigger a few bugs. Nothing more found than from before. So a factory reset is not nessesarilly needed. Could be good to try if you experiance issues though.

Keep in mind that most people that is happy with the phone won't come here and say it. The end result will look like 80% or more is unhappy here... While the real life situation might be 80% is happy. They just don't say it that much as an unhappy user.

Those who are using the current updated os are still having problemsatic issues which are inherited from the previous android 11 update based on the comments above. If you wanna challenge your degree of patience and tolerance of ignorance, you are very welcomed to update your android 10 to current buggy oxygen 11 system.

    *PROBLEMS are NEVER SETTLE.*

Very true about negative experiences more likely to write about it . Good tip on reset after upgrade but I'm inclined to wait for version .4 or .5 if you've done the reader and then rolled back to 10! I also tried the beta last year but ended up going back to 10. Just a hassle doing resets / rollbacks!

In march must be next update.
    Sad.
