    Tempting. But can't afford to hard reset now. I guess complete formatting is unavoidable to install TWRP on the first hand, isn't it?

    Clear app data or uninstall & install again those apps.

    You don't have to install TWRP, only boot into it. Reboot into fastboot, then run fastboot boot twrp.img, it may takes half a minute, finally flash the kernel. The only drawback is that you have to do it after every update (what is once every "2 months" :D).

    Nothing is "stable" in softwares, right? I would have easily ignored that, if I had that glitch.
