The phone doesn't come with ads to begin with, it's an app you recently downloaded that's causing it.

Use this tool to find out the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gobest.goclean&hl=en_US&gl=US

For 2 months? I can't deal with it for 1 day if it happened to my phone.
Anyway, it's just some app working in background. Go in settings > apps and see if there is any suspicious app installed. If you don't find anything, try scanning the phone with antimalware app from Malwarebytes. There are still more ways.

Settings>Display>Dark Mode>Manage apps in dark mode
No supported or unsupported apps are listed as it should have been. Anybody has any working solution?

    Hi mates,

Since Android 11, I usually missed thhe extended menu when you do a long press over settings. Do you know a workaround in order to avoid a full wipe? I did full wipe last week and in less than 7 days, I lost again the extended menu when you do a long press over system icons.
    Thanks

Hello, I don't know if you are the right person to ask but here is my question. My current version is 11.GM21AA so do you think I will receive the update or I will have to update it manually.

I have no rush for update but just wanted to know the reason why I'm not getting any updates.

Its perfectly fine if Oneplus decides that it will take its own sweet time to rollout a security patch. However, if there is any issue with the update and the rollout process has been paused (which looks very likely as a big lot of people didn't get it yet) OP should at the very least come out with a statement explaining the situation. 24 days for a staged rollout of a security patch is sheer nonsense.

    Manually.

This happens all the time, actually. If you want it right now, you can download it manually using Oxygen Updater.

I never said I want it right now - coz its probably buggy AF which is the reason it is not getting released for all. Secondly, myself being an android dev, I am aware how release cycles work and the symptoms of things going bad. Bugs are fine, all code have bugs, what I said was the company can be transparent about it. That's all.

Strange. This was sent out October 29th and it still hasn't made its way to me. It probably will not change anything for me, but I've been having an issue with accessing the camera from the lock screen (power button shortcut and swiping from the camera icon) where it does not open it. I have to unlock the phone and open the camera. Maybe this update will make things ok again.
