Please, don't say that!!! Don't say that you never had battery drain and OxygenOS 11 is fast and smooth, because most people here will kill you and they will think that you are a liar, like me. ;):DWe are lying and our phones are heating to much, and so on.......

It is mandatory to say bad things about Oneplus, OxygenOS and updates. Truly, i never had any problems with updates or OxygenOS 9, 10 and 11, so, i'm sorry but I would like to know what people do to their phones to have so much issues!

    EU: version
    don't have any issues.

    GLO: version
    has always had some issues.

    P.S.
    I use the EU version
    and I have no problems.

luckier you .. but in this thread those with performance problems are clearly outnumbered. So let's not assume individual cases and say everything is perfect

I don't assume everyone should have good experience but only ones who encountered annoying issues are motivated to make comments. So when you read the threads there is a strong biased sentiment that makes you feel the system is really bad.

Yes I always use oxygen updater. Not sure why you ask about battery. I started installation with about 73% and it turned about 68% after reboot. Remaining battery is definitely not a concern when I install system updates.

Hey I got L1 back after installing 11B4 on rooted 10.3.8 stable which dropped to L3 after unlocking bootloader. Then I switched back to 11 stable without wipe (helped by keep_data app). Maybe you can try this path.

Okay cool, so did you download like 200mb or the full version? Because for me at the beginning it showed me in oxygen updater the full version to download, now is showing only the update 200mb or so

Maybe try using the phone without installing apps after factory reset for a while so you'll know whether the heating issue is caused by the system itself or some other apps.
I think AccuBettery also helps when you look at wake up percentage. A well configured system should be sleeping above 95% of the time. If you see something like 80%, there must be bad asses draining your battery in the background.
I spent a lot of time using tools like AppOps to enforce more strict permission control on all apps.

No the zip file is about 2.41GB. You need to disable background limit (battery optimization) on oxygen updater otherwise the download service is probably killed when you switch to another app or the phone is locked.
