Complaining is not allowed here because they don't give you what you paid for, the moment you complain, they appear like zombies trying to eat your brain. Hey and they all work well what a coincidence.

Well, there are a lot more users who don't complain. (~300 users, oddly 90% commented, have issues. This is normal, I am sure rotation can be locked and you can keep your phone straight. Just chill, these are just phones and softwares.

I'm not defending anyone,i'm simply saying i have no issues with my phone. If that so hard for you to believe and if that makes me a zombie, then so be it.

    Not an excuse.
There is no 90% of forum users that had the issue, that's an exaggeration.

And as I stated, could be one of the few instances that is not of the user's fault and would fall into the five percentage range.

Again, you just cannot expect reality.

95% of electronics issues are the end user's fault, period.

There is no excuse, it is one hundred percent truth.

Nonsense and I am not defending anything.
I simply stated a fact, one that many cannot expect.
That 95% of all electronics issues are the end user's fault and not the actual manufacturer's fault.
That is one hundred percent truth.
Now does a minor software glitch on an update account for a possible five percent, sure absolutely but for those that had the issue it was somehow fixed and others somehow never had the issue at all.
I wonder how many of the people who had the screen rotation error, had the maximize screen Apk installed, to give full screen edge to edge in landscape and cover the camera dot with image. That seems likely and plausible to me. lol

With this update, all I can say is that the 8 Pro walks as it should walk any phone moderately decent with snapdragon 865, But it still fails in battery life, nothing new in the layer, conclusion a mediocre update but necessary to put some stability on the flagship. Looks like the brand became mediocre.

I'm facing below issues on my 8Pro IN latest stable version

    1. File manager refresh takes time everytime I open it.
    2. Gallery refreshes everytime I open it. All the photos to appear takes time.
    3. When clicked using 48M camera, the capturing takes time. There's a circle seen moving on the capture button.
    4. Bluetooth disconnect option not available. Even when my smartwatch is connected, it will show the option to connect and not disconnect.

    Anyone else facing this issue?

I have already submitted the bug multiple times to OnePlus team but no one seems to look into it.

A frustrated user of OnePlus 8 Pro "flagship" phone 😔
