No one really knows, but considering OnePlus just dropped software support for the 6 series this week, then it's reasonable to assume they'll drop support for the 7 series this time next year.

    I don't think so.

The support will be dropped in December this year (the T series was launched in October 2019).

So, Android 12 should be available by end may or June and after that maybe two more updates to fix some bugs and bye bye.

After a couple of weeks checking this thread out, it's either more and more are not having too many issues anymore compared to the earlier update or it's just that more of them already left and replaced their 7T series device. 😅

OnePlus 7 series is 'End of Life'. Be glad you get A12 later. There are not any features coming they just patch the software bugs (more or less good). Think about switching. That's what they want anyways. They have no interest in keeping the devices alive for 4,5,6 years

Finnally whether OnePlus will fix these in oxygen OS 12 and will op 7t get updates upto oxygen OS 13? Iam So curious to know the answer

    Hello there
Too many users are facing the same issue related to refresh rate thing, you are not the only one.
Maybe uninstall the what's app and then reinstall it again, don't forget to backup your data.
    I don't think 7T ll get A13,that would be 4 years old,which I don't see OnePlus support 4 years old phone.
    Good luck

They have lost hope.. Because if they wanted to fix major issues they would have done by now.

Many of them are not lying and there is no fun in defaming the company.

Just look at 9 series and 8 series threads, so many disappointed users.

Merger was supposed to sort out things on the software part but they have made it worse..

What are we talking about again?

Who ever said someone was lying? I said I still don't have those issues. I have reason to believe it was because I am using an EU rom which was compatible with all the stuff I do with my device.

Why do you keep on insisting that someone or I said those people were lying? I am even offering help and giving advice to try to fix them.

I would still never blame any company. I am using the device. Not hem. If I had software issues I deal with it myself.

I had problems with my newer Xperia 1 ii more than this old 7T... Yet I won't blame Sony for it. I managed to fixed them anyway. Which means it was my fault in the first place. My error as a user.
