    I don't have 5g or VoWifi options listed on mine. I'm on AT&T in the US so it might their network disallowing it but I guess we'll find out.

    I don't know how they advertise this phone as a 5g phone when we can't use 5g on it . This is my first oneplus phone ans sure it will be the last , and I won't recommend this company to any one because they are deciveing their customers and keep giving false promises to fix the issue.

    @Majd922 Did you buy this phone from a carrier (like verizon or T-Mobile), or did you purchase it on your own and try to add it to a cellphone carrier?

    All 5G is not the same. They use different technology (frequencies) in each company. The phone must be compatible with what your cellphone carrier provides.

    I am on 5G so OnePlus works on 5G
    I'm on VO-LTE so my 8T can do it
    I also have VO-WiFi yes it can do that.

    I live in Dubai and I have the indian variant of the 8T . I have 5G simcard but there is no 5G option to select in network type + no Volte + no Vowifi . so yeah it's a software problem . I had reported the issue to Oneplus support and guess what , they confirmed the problem and promised to fix it in the last update ,but nothing has been fixed yet. What does make me angry is that they clearly mentioned in their Dubai's official store that their 5G phones will work properly on the UAE's 5G carriers .This is why I bought this phone ( this is what I called A FALSE ADVERTISMENT ). If they have mentioned that they have problems with some carriers ( like they had said to me ) I would have purchased another phone. I paid for a 5G phone ready out of the box not to hear silly excuses and not to wait for an update that will never come. This is really frustrating.

    I agree with @Y1603743008207!

    We are here to try to help. I'm not OnePlus, but I can't stand people not having a good experience. I think the phone is great. It's my 3rd OnePlus. Keep in there my friend maybe someone here can help. Please post logs in feedback section maybe other users have seen this.

    Last resort there is an unofficial app called "Oxygen Updater" it can help force updates and downgrades.... Also they have a great group of people over there on their own forms.

    Thanks for your replay , I know you're trying to help . I didn't say the phone isn't great ,on the contrary it's a solid phone and I'm very satisfied with it apart from the 5G problem .
    Regarding 5G issue , it's not mine alone it's a world wide problem , you can type in the search bar 5g and see how many complaints reported , so it is not " inexperience ".
    I have already feedbacked the issue twice but it seems that they don't listen coz some op 8 pro users faced the same issue months ago with false promises from oneplus to fix it but to no avail.
