7 series android 11 beta should have arrived in Dec, 2020 itself but as per the official statement they stated an issue with data decryption which delayed the update and made OnePlus to work with Qualcomm in order to rectify. Currently the beta version is a week away from it's release for 7 & 7T series as well. So, u r definitely not eons away xD

    Hi m.alemani,

This is indeed normal. Every OnePlus update is first rolled out to a select group of phones to check for any issues. After a successful update, it's rolled out to the rest of the phones. This is a very common update policy ;)

If you always want to be part of the select group of early installers you can install Oxygen Updater, which also notifies you when an update is available (and if there are issues). That said, most of the time it's better to wait after the first group of phones have tested the update. Especially if it's your main phone.

As a product owner of a few applications I can say that you only should update your phone if a larger group have accepted it. Yes it's tested by developers and specialized testers, but a production environment is always different and somehow every phone is uniquely configured and testing every single use-case is impossible.

In my team we call early installers/adopters: production testers.

It's a known bug. Unfortunately no one from OnePlus had acknowledged that till date

Hey guys I have the solution for everyone's queries...
Just remove your Google account in the phone then re-start your phone and then add your Google account which you have removed.
    That's it thanks me later..!!
Actually it's not a bug these laggy things happening because the latest stable update is not compatible for some Google account that's why it happens but once you do above thing you are good to go...!!

Too little too late, I already got adjusted to the keyboard plus the new setting that erases that arrow will push the whole keyboard way too down for my sausage fingers. The setting might be good for vietnamese women :]] but for normal hands the keyboard is perfect where it is now.
