Great that they fixed the media lag, but I still cannot believe that they included the november security patch and not the latest one. Heck even the Nord got a more recent patch.

I would think that for now it is best that they get the problems fixed first. Then after that they can work on other things. Security updates RARELY are needed for anything useful!

True but they should have included the december patch in the first place.

OnePlus is ALWAYS a month (at least) behind because of their WELL KNOWN policy of providing updates BY-MONTHLY. Something that we all agreed to when we purchased a phone from OnePlus. So, it is, what it is!

That's a bug fix from the previous version since there was lag in videos and people reported device lag

And not just the playback, all apps are freezing shortly and lagging. Did you find any solution, or response from oneplus?

I'm kinda okay with bi-monthly updates but in that scenario the security patches should also have bi-monthly increments and not go from oktober to november in a bi-monthly update but go from oktober to december instead, now we'll be running november until March or something. That's just silly.

So what for who already installed the bugged 11.0.6.8 update? Will we get a hotfix?

Yeah, we need the fix in the EU too. The 6.8 build we received on Dec 29th is bugged too.
