In this update please fix the camera issue. Selfie photos and Nightscape mode photos disappear automatically within few seconds after the click and not showing in the gallery, file manager or any other apps.

8h sot seems like a dream to me. Did not get this screen time even when the phone was new. I never play any games. Just moderate usage. Have wiped cache also after last update. Can you share some tips?

How often do you charge the phone? I do moderate usage (no gaming), get smaller SoT too but charge the phone every 2-3 days.

So far the firmware working fine, I haven't notice any issues, but when will battery hours with extra "s" can be fixed? It's kind of irritates me, the error is been there since first version of Android 11 upgrade.

    Every 2-3 days? Wow!!
I have to charge daily in the evening.... SOT was around 4.5-5 hrs before the last update... Now that I have cleared the phone cache.. I am yet to see the SOT today.... Screen usage is 30 mins till now and battery is 87%

Yes, because I use the phone as a phone, not for gaming. I don't have Facebook and similar power hungry not well optimized apps on the phone. And, replaced some Google standard apps with 'go' alternatives (YouTube go, Google Go).

I also never do gaming. It seems you are very obsessed with the battery backup thing.... Of course, I use other social media apps normally...

If this cache clear thing is necessary and really works then Oneplus should include this automatically after every update.

Not really but I don't keep apps I don't use/run on the phone. And when possible, I replace default app with 'light' version.

Thats a good choice but sometimes a light option does not fulfill the needs.... What's the fun of buying a flagship if wee were to use LIGHTER versions of the app made for cheap phones 😀😀😀

Lol true true. Definitely there is a tradeoff, some are OK with it while others like fully-featured version. Neither is wrong just personal preference.

    Tried the following:
    1. Reboot
    2. Remove sim then wait for 1 minute
    3. Clear cache app
    4. Clear data app
    5. Clear cache phone
    6. Try stock message app
    7. Try google messages app
