Today is April 8 and I have not yet received the OS update 11.0.8.12.
I'm still on the andoid security patch for January 1, 2021.
This is a big shame for OnePlus.

Got my 8T yesterday, set alarm for work this morning. Never went off. Hour late for work. Reading patch notes on the train. Ah.

Looking forward to getting this update [e]1f602[/e]

I'm pretty sure that your build number is matched up by model number of phone, and not by where your phone is located/or where your VPN is set to on the globe.

@Vicky345 your smileys made me laugh though

    8 April....still not update
When I think better about what I will get with this update - nothing special .... maybe I get some error and bug more than I have. So it's better not to adapt the phone.
It doesn't even matter if it says: Android security update-
    January 1, 2021 or March 1, 2021.
Because it doesn't matter anymore for OnePlus ..... unfortunately.

It's every time like this. It takes 3 - 4 weeks after the announcement of an update for the update to arrive in Europe...

While you get using Oxygen updater app however you are better off not installing it as the bugs are really annoying and had indeed made the device feel as crap.

    Rest it's ur call...

After the latest update on the 8T, I am facing a few issues, not sure of others have seen.

    1. When I receive a phone call, the name from my contact doesn't show up at all.

    2. The WiFi when connected does not work well

    3. The phone has become sluggish, even after multiple restarts very slow.

I still don't get OxygenOS 11.0.8.12 EU on my OnePlus 8T KB2003 and after everything what you writtes that I don't want this update.
I want only security patch for March....because I still on android security patch for January 1 2021....this things are very big shame for OnePlus.....now in April 8th on my "premium" device 8T still writes : January 1., 2021...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

That's entirely incorrect. This thread is for the discussion of this particular update. Since the community is an open forum then anyone is free to post in this or any other thread, provided they remain on topic.

Maybe they own the 8T, and maybe they don't, but as long as they are not breaking OnePlus terms they are perfectly entitled to post here

    https://forums.oneplus.com/help/terms

    Just saying 🤷‍♂️✌️
