    @Abdul B.

This is my first and last 1+ phone.

It's always "wait for next update" and when the update arrives it sometimes fixes some issues, but overall makes the phone worse.

Software.... well if you update your phone and don't clear you cache EVERY time after an update, you mostly get really really weird things and battery drain. Also everytime the phone updates, you need to worry about your Widevine L1 not working anymore. (and support will say... wait for next update)

Fingerprint reader works most of the time, but facing an issue that I cant use the fingerprint because it is grayed out.
This happens multiple times a day.

Battery life is more consistent, but I went from 10h SOT when doing my normal usage to 7hours. That is a huge difference.

Battery optimalisation never worked for me. It always charges to 100%. (nice feature -_-)

HDR content in Netflix and other streaming programs is still absent or really really bad.

Full screen videos/apps? Not gonna happen. Bars everywhere.

Still really bad low light screen performance... The fixes they implemented is mostly just raising the minimal screen brightness.. THAT IS NOT A FIX.

Screen uniformity is really bad and noticed really well with low brightness and dark surroundings (especially 5% greys/near black)

Camera performance is really subpar. Slow shutter speed, slow processing, really bad low light photo's.

4g connectivity is really wonky.. I have great reception BUT, the phone regullary has problems with keeping the internet connection up. (this is on t-mobile network with dual sim).

I pretty much lost hope that 1+ will do enough with updates to this phone to make it somewhat better. It being so bad since release, it would be better for them to recall all phones and give ppl there money back or a free upgrade to the 1+ 9 (pro) (ofcourse hoping that they did a better job with those phones).

Ppl need to keep in mind that this is a 699 euro phone (256GB version). 699 euros for a phone that does not work great IS NOT acceptable.

Since the 11.0.8.13 version I'm experiencing frequently signal loss. Before this version I was in 5g/4g (NR/Lte only) only mode and had no signal loss at all on my daily route to work. Just now I was on the road with my girlfriend and my 8T lost signal and doesn't want to connect back at all, even not in 2g/3g/4g/5g mode in a city. My girlfriend's S10 had almost full signal strength the whole time. Both T-mobile Germany.
Don't know if it has something to do with the deactivation of the 3G network which takes place since end of June..
Someone experiencing the same issue since 11.0.8.13?

    Regards
    Marco

Oh for me it was a lag which would take time for the loading of the app icons.

I bought this phone 1 month ago and instantly got latest stable 11.0.8.14 update. But since the first day battery backup is awful. I barely get 4 h SOT. Overnight I'm getting about 10% drain. I'm not very heavy user. Usually using Facebook, messenger and up to 1 h of YouTube. How the f... is this possible to get this bad battery backup on almost "flagship" device. I optimized all apps, deleted bloatware and cleared cash in recovery. With my previous poco x3 with 5000mah battery I managed to get 11-12h of SOT. With 1+ battery of 4500mah i am expected at least 8h SOT...

Yes. Same to me. Tryed many possible solutions nothing worked well.
Also having to reset my whole device just because OP doesn't solve the error is a no go. That costs me an unnecessary amount of time every time. For 500+ € I expect a working device.

Well maybe I'm lucky. I bought 2 OnePlus 8T one for me one for my wife. We both coming from Samsung S series. Nothing to complain. Battery almost 2 days for the both of us normal use, some social media, emails... Calls. Camera is very good I also downloaded from XDA a Google Camera port for night shots and astro photography. I really see a lot of bitter feelings from some users, and I'm sorry to read that because I quite happy with my device.

This is an example of what the camera is capable of with the ported version of Google Camera.
I'm looking forward Android 12 and the merge with ColorOS.

The frequent signal losses are still not fix. Problem exists since more than half a year! Shame on you
