Aren't you tired of answering the same questions over and over again?
Almost every 2-3 pages the known bugs repeat themselves with their solution.
I have given up answering the same questions over and over for several pages.

My 6T is working perfectly fine with this update (I always format after a major update). I'm not suggesting that it will fix every issue, but there is a reiterating theme throughout this thread.

There's those with lots of issues who have not formatted

Then there's others like myself who have formatted and are having very few problems if any.

You do whatever you feel is best, but as for whether or not I'll stop advising a reset. I will continue to advise users to reset their device (where appropriate). 🤷🏼‍♂️

How's your old 6T doing with A11? You gave it to one of your kids if I remember correctly?

Yeah it's his daily driver now. It's flying along. 11 went on and it just carried on regardless. He whinged about the new layouts a bit for a day or so but used to them now. He still gets about a day out of the battery. And he uses far more social media apps than I did. But he loves the 6T now, won't be going back to Sony anyway.

Everything has gone bonkers in my 6T, my mind is just evaporating with all these changes, gallery has gone bonkers, many folders are missing, many of the folders duplicate has been there from no-where, all the recordings are gone, no gmail notifications at all, Netflix widget isn't responding at all, but ofcourse the device is lagging as in 0.25x, there are many many many issues that I have not mentioned here.... these all has frustrated me and I don't why but my mind is feeling affected a lot!!
I request OnePlus/ OnePlus community to reach me out and completely help me.

It's just stupid to have to reinstall your whole phone after updating.
    Never happened with iphone.

But in fact factory reset usually helps and solves the problem.. Because you erase all the settings etc, which might be that deal breaker.

It is, but it is recommended after a major update which is update from Android 10 to Android 11 for example. Because of many changes made etc. IPhone has different OS etc.

Yeah, it does help for some settings with apps...

    BUT reset doesn't help for:
    Camera app issues
    Battery drain
    Incoming call delay
    Gmail notifications
    ....

It can, not saying it will, but it is possible, everything is possible, and you won't know for sure until you try it.

And if you do still have issues after trying it out. Then you can send Bug reports and give Feedback on the issues back to the OnePlus OOS developers. So that they can investigate them.
    https://forums.oneplus.com/feedback/

And you can also contact OnePlus support directly to see if they have more information on your issue. Scroll down the page for Email, Phone contact and online Chat details.

I did send bug request, created some logs for them , for the Gmail notifications issue, never got feedback, that was like 2 months ago on first release of 11.

Did a downgrade back to 10... And now every 2 days I need to ignore the update notification to 11 :)

It looks like even the OnePlus members here on forum have given up too, they did reply earlier, but seems they stopped ... They don't provide feedback, looks like they abandoned us with this crap update

I am SO disappointed with this update.

Did this update on October 1st. Not only has it switched the layout (which is terrible and not as practical in some of the apps), but now I'm having SEVERAL issues:

    - 4G LTE Data not working
    - MMS messages not sending or receiving
    - Google Maps not working

    and more...

Called my provider (Koodo) and nothing they can do about.

Called and have been emailing OnePlus. Want me to do a whole factory reset.

Attempting to back up my phone and now it does even get detected on both of my PC devices (computer and laptop).

I am so furious and displeased. There should be an easier way to uninstall this update. I pay for my data and need my phone for work. This is absolutely ridiculous. OnePlus should be pushing Android to get a new WORKING update ASAP or should make this wayyyyy easier to uninstall.

Was OOS10 update stable at starting stage compared with OOS11?

Not really a good comparison when you bring iPhone into the game. This is Android and unfortunately it happens that old system files are carried over from A10 to A11 instead of properly delete them. Happened to me also when I updated to OB1. Then was running SD Maid (needs root access) and it deleted a bunch of obsolete files of A10.

Several users reported this issue in this topic with Koodo. It was solved for them, by deleting the APN's and add them manually according to the settings posted on the homepage of the Network provider.

    Cheers
