Nope , it's not, Gmail doesnt work with push, camera app has issues , and battery is draining faster, and yes , also after a complete wipe... Downgrade back to 10 , and everything works fine, so it's clearly 11 causing it

On your phone maybe, but not on all phones. 🤔
Maybe contact OnePlus directly, to discuss it with them, as it's all users here. 💪👍

Exactly. This rom is working perfectly fine only on your phone and not for others. Everyone's facing the similar issue, wiping cache of an app or in recovery mode solves the issue temporary so there's no proper fix to it.
I understand you got a post as community expert and want to maintain that but that doesn't mean you have to side with oneplus everytime.
If you don't know the permanent fix or solution kindly leave it. Your silence will be much appreciated than your taunts.

Everyone here are helping each other, don't take it in wrong way 😇.

    For Gmail issue try this.

Gmail notifications issue, follow the steps below:
    1. Disable RAM Boost.

    2. Goto > Settings > Battery >Battery optimisation > Right top corner 3 dots > Advance optimisation > Disable sleep stand by and optimise app power consumption.

    3. Go to App Info of Gmail App, Unde Batter section select
    "Don't Optimize" option.

    4. Again in App Info of Gmail, go to Permissions. At Bottom
disable "Remove permissions if app isn't used" option.

    5. Restart your phone.

    Try this basic settings

    1) Update Gmail to latest version. Then goto app info clear the cache and storage of Gmail app.

    2) Check the Gmail Sync settings

Open the Gmail app Tap the side menu button at the top-left corner.
    Tap Settings (at the bottom)
    Select your account.
Scroll to the bottom. Under "Data usage", make sure you've enabled Sync Gmail.

    3) Check your device's account sync settings
    Open the Settings app
Scroll down and select Accounts First, scroll to the bottom and make sure "Auto-sync turned on.
After that, select your Gmail account from the list.
Tap Account sync. Make sure you enable the Gmail.

Hi, thnx , no that doesn't work, sync always stops after a few hours after a reboot , it's a bug in OnePlus
And indeed @Caomhin , stop replying that your phone works fine, we don't need that info...
There are clearly bugs, so stop providing info like wiping and removing cache , you only make it worse and let believe believe there are no issues... So stop it... Thnx!!

I have been facing the same issue from yesterday. I wasn't going for installation, so it auto installed at midnight.
After this latest oxygen 11 update phone is not working when it comes to accessing any media file on any third party app. Not able to share nor it allows to see or save incoming media.
    Screen randomly reset or refreshes.
    Font changed automatically post upgrade.

    Worst upgrade ever.......

Gmail notifications has been working just fine for me, haven't missed a mail recently. Then again, I factory reset my phone after every major update and make sure all Google Core apps are up to date.

Google is to blame. A new storage access feature for 3rd party apps are introduced in Android 11 called Scoped Storage that prevents any apps from unauthorized access of user data.
If you referring to OnePlus Slate font then sadly its gone and replaced by New Sans font.

I tried changing PATH amd copying folder to new location at which new OS saves media files. Unfortunately Didn't work, that's why posted to seek if any other work around or if One plus is working on this Bug to get it fixed!

    Read Post #4766.
OnePlus isn't working on that because this issue is Google's, so unless you do something it will remain as is.

Last night, OP pushed the A11 to my device (it was even downloaded to my phone 6T), so for the 4th time I installed A11 on my phone, just to try again. On this Gmail bug, it seems it's a bug from Google or OP, then again, I see even the newer OP phones, even the 9 series on A11, have issues with Gmail sync on A11. I have tried every single option/workaround/solution I could find on the Oneplus forums. 2 times factory reset, removing Google account and adding it again, Battery Optimisation, all these settings changes etc etc. etc I could find in the forums and still Gmail stopped after a while. For now I have just added Gmail to my Outlook app and that works beautifully. I just don't understand why this happens? The internet is full of complaints on this bug, it's like Google or OP just moved on..

Means you're saying that all Android 11 devices effected Gmail notification issue?? Strange I have s20 Fe 5g , works fine no Gmail issue... Even in custom rom of OnePlus 6t Gmail notification working fine.. still you think Google to blame?

About the Gmail issues, it's indeed not only on the 6 series, other OnePlus devices with android 11 are impacted too...
It's OnePlus to blame... Custom roms with android 11 don't have the issue

    Correctly!!

Btw, what custom ROM are you using? Because OnePlus is not going to fix anything...
Also , with your custom, are banking apps still working? Normally they don't work on rooted phones
