And if the files received have the same name and same size that means they are for sure identical?

Have you checked the file size down to each KB ? I do not remember OnePlus to post size of the update in KB so how can you be sure?

Also OnePlus does not give checksums for the files so how can users be sure the updates received through Oxygen Updater are not tempered with?

You mentioned that the updates received from Oxygen Updater are coming from OnePlus servers ... 😀😀😀... Really? So OnePlus gave access to the update servers to some shady app developer so he can deliver the updates faster using OnePlus servers? 😀😀😀> Let's say this is true (never in a million years but let's suppose) how can you state that the Oxygen Updater updates come from OnePlus servers? Do you have / known all the IPs of those servers?

The incredible lack of knowledge and the simple mind you have makes me laugh 😀😀😀

You are not talking to OnePlus team but only to simple users of the Forum.
So please HIDE/DELETE your phone number as this may harm your privacy !
If you're up to date :
1 - Release of Nord 0S stable dated March 1st.
2 - Release stopped after 10 days due to bugs.
    3 - Release of Nord 0S 11.1 .1.1 stable dated March 15th.
Deployement via OTA is a long staged process and can take days or weeks worldwide.
Users of Oxygen Updater app (Play Store) receive the updates notification in less than one second for instant download.
Important note : files received via OTA or via Oxygen Updater are exactly the same files from official OnePlus servers.
OTA files go to the OTA folder of your device for install before being deleted.
Oxygen Updater files go to the root of your device for local install at any moment or for archiving or repairs.

When I got the first rollout of OxygenOS I updated it, but after 2 days having problems with the notifications and reading that oneplus halted the update because of its numerous problems I went back to OxygenOS 10... And is so good that I'm avoiding leaving OxygenOS 10! My only problem is that in Spain we cannot connect to the 5G network of Movistar.

The question is how's the experience going after this update. I guess also that is better to do a factory reset and wipe cache partition, right?
