No it's not, it all depends what apps you have running and are using.

Also you need to check it after about 80% use and over 3 full charges to get a good average. Also are you using QHD and 120hz, AOD and other features. some will use more resources. There are many factors.

Please note that the way you use the phone (daily usage scenarios and habits) will make a huge difference to the battery/heating performance. In a scenario where there is a heavy performance workload, such as photo shooting/video shooting/mobile gaming/video consumption, the power consumption and heating of the phone will increase accordingly, which is a normal phenomenon.

There are many factors that can affect battery and heat, even ambient air temperatures above 25°c+ can slow down charging or cause heat issues, as the air temperature gets hotter the phone cannot dissipate heat as quickly so may even slow the charging down as a safety measure as well.

You are more than welcome to share any battery and charging tips and tricks in the comment section and ask a forum moderator to pin your post on the first page of this thread.

Also, Please check the links below for suggestions on alleviating any battery, heat and charging issues. .

Mine actually stretches in the last 10%, I know that power saving will decrease the CPU clock and things like those, but it feels like oneplus gave a safety margin for the lower percentages. Some tests I saw comparing the 9 with iPhones, S21 made me realize how much the last 1% of the one plus stretches compared to other brands

I barely game on my phone. I indeed am using 120Hz but with FHD+ (can't justify more pixels, my eyes aren't that sharp). And I use greenify to prevent useless background running apps from draining battery. I'm not unhappy with 5/6h of SOT, but allowing the users to pick some more underclock profiles or improving the refresh rate should give all of us up to 10h of SOT. 🤷‍♂️

I was using OnePlus 7pro before and even then I was getting better battery time, now 9pro both bigger battery and more efficient processor 888 but worse battery experience serious battery calibration maybe this problem is caused by Android 11 or snapdragon 888 is not as energy saving as they promised is not releasing
