It is not premium. Premium is Samsung. Premium is Apple. Premium is Huawei... But not OnePlus... They are trying to jump on heights, but they have not famous to be a premium... For now it's just company with big problems...

Highly unlikely, there are more people that love the new look than hate it and it will attract other users so those haters will not even be noticed whilst the company keeps making money.

You obviously live with your head up your arse, the 8pro is a premium phone which still costs less than Samsung or iPhone

C'mon you said as a more affordable option... Where do you see it more affordable? S20+ on Snapdragon costs less then 8 Pro... Asus Rog Phone 3, Mi 10 Pro cost less.

I have never seen so many screen problems with other brands! Only OnePlus lets itself to fall into mud with newer issues jumping over old ones after each gen.

    1. Features.
    2. Support.
    3. Premium Materials.

Even my local techviewer (which hasn't got any money from OnePlus) said that after OP 7 Pro, 8 Pro is a failure. In the new models, they saved money on everything from the screen panels to the RAM. They just liked the success of the OnePlus 7 Pro and decided they could do the same as the Samsung. But it turned out that no, they could not. Better stop this discussion I guess. We each have our own opinion and everyone can write it. Correct me if I'm wrong, I said my own. That's all.

Asus Rog 3 top end starts at €1099

How are these cheaper than the 8pro?

just thinking that if all the TRUEFANS in history were right,
we can still use windows mobile with touchpen, or dumbphones with numeric keypad. and i still remember working in MS DOS and also voices (in printed magazines because internet was in diapers) that mentioned that graphic systems like Windows 3.11 are against people because commamd prompt is sooo clean and simple.

just sayin that you cant stop progress....
    NOKIA missed the train...
    Blackberry missed the train
    Windows Mobile missed the train...

Oxygen OS have to evolve or it will miss their train too...

Wowsers! Not a fan of the shift to the OneUI styling. I'm glad others are ok with it but from my perspective, it's a shame that Oxygen is being ruined.

I've avoided Samsung because I really dislike their UI and if that's coming to OnePlus, I guess I'll hold off on any updates until I absolutely have to, and then look for another manufacturer for my next phone.

OnePlus step on their own death path. It is sad because this company had everything and it will lose everything if it does not fundamentally rework OOS 11.

P.S: just looked at Reddit... I understand that more than a half ACTIVE users don't like that new style, and most comments are "this is my last OP smartphone". OnePlus just started loosing their loyal users... Damn... It really hurts me and it's hard to look at it, but it's real situation... :(:(:(

What're you even talking about? $748 for S20+ 5G (Hong Kong version) on Snapdragon... I don't care that somewhere else it costs more, when I can go and buy it right now.
