A question: How does this one-hand mode limit your two-hand usage?

Solid argument, however the tonality maybe a bit harsh for others to digest.[e]1f609[/e]

You can flash the Developer Preview now.
It's said that the public Open Beta will arrive in September, with a Stable release in October. All unconfirmed leaks. But seeing the current state of it, it's definitely possible.

Because half of the display is just blank. Let's just saw how it is released in iOS or MIUI. Fro whom who want this "half-display info" they could enable it. But for all others. Why we should settle with this.

    Never Settle

AHhahahha exactly... "As long as there is minimal bloatware + good features are still being added while ensuring a high performance, I'm happy." Facebook? No never heard about it.

Oxygen OS never looked like stock Android
It was just closer than other skins
Always different fonts, different symbols, every thing different

I'd love to hear more, as people have been asking for weeks, if not months... But @Pete found some time for android police, not for the community with his "dear friends". Breathtaking as always o_O

Nobody from 1+ staff ever dared to visit dedicated thread. I see an opportunity to ask awkward and important question, I do it.

There was a square element UI solution years ago... but let us stop from here ;)

    Hey guys,

I'm using the Developer Preview 3 now on my device and I have noticed that the lock screen clock no longer shows the 12 hour format. Nor does the widget for home screen. Is there a work around or is it a bug?

    What is this then?

Do u know the history of OnePlus?

Then u should know why the people, who bought OnePlus One 3,5,6 love this company.

I am so dissapointed that Oneplus redesigned its UI. After seeing that, I'd love to return my 8 pro. I could also buy a Samsung phone directly. My reason for buying was the nearly Stock Software experience...

No, that's just an initial screen view. Does it limit the actual usage? I don't think so. UI is nice if it's there, but I can get used to anything. On PC I used DOS, Windows, MacOS, Linux with console, Gnome and KDE - every system has its advantages and disadvantages. UIs were similar and less similar (oh btw, I remember Microsoft and HP being sued for copying Macintosh and Lisa GUI elements) - the things I care about are functionality.
What I disliked most about MacOS? Actually that I had to go into console and enable hidden files via long command instead of having this in their shell. And doing the same to disable the options. Having a completely different approach to install programs on MacOS didn't stop me as I achieved the same with different ways to get the same result.
Coming back to one hand mode - I can usually reach all elements with my right thumbs on OOS10, I'll definitely will be able to reach all elements with my right thumb on OOS11 and as soon as I scroll I'll have exactly the same usability as before and can scroll down to reach elements with my right thumb or use fingers of my left hand like before on OOS10. One scroll to have the same optics as before is quickly done with a small movement of the thumb or any other fingers. This is why I do not see any practical disadvantage.

    P.S.
It's third of the screen and not half, that is more or less blank initially.

Same as my OP7Pro. I think i will sell it, if there will be no rework for OOS 11
