Use oxygen updater app if you don't want to wait. ✌🏻

No need. It's 40 pages of "is it stable?", followed by 30 pages of "i did not get it" and "use oxygen updater". And somewhere in there are actually maybe 10-20 useful messages with answers and bugs. I wonders if people ever really read or just get to a thread and start typing without reading anything.

Will OnePlus read these 80 pages of comments ?

Guys it's been 3 years. You are not new to OnePlus family. So you very well know not everyone receives update on Day 1 of announcement in forum. It takes 2 weeks for complete rollout of update. In last Android 10 update before I receive the update let's say 10.0, OnePlus released next update 10.0.1 so I got the new update 10.0.1 directly. So anyways all guys on stable build will receive the update. kindly Control your excitement, wait and don't ask WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE UPDATE...?! Use Oxygen updater app which has same OTA File, So it's safe.

If you are talking about wait time, then there is one update after 10.0.1 that I didn't receive and I was waiting for the same too. But I got direct 10.0.3. So it's beeter to ask is there any critical issue or not.

I found it stable and liked very much but I chose to downgrade it back to 10.3.12 because I always like my phone rooted and presently I didn't find enough support for rooting oneplus 6 on online forums. there are 2 things to mention for root users who want to update to oos11 :

    (1) twrp recovery not yet supported for oos11. if you execute command "fastboot boot recoveryname.img" like earlier, it will send your op6 phone in "Qualcomm crash dump mode". Though it doesn't brick ur phone. just power off by hard button and reboot.

    (2) if u want to root without twrp and with magisk, u need to install magisk app then patch boot image file with it , copy the file to your fastboot folder on pc, then execute fastboot boot magisk_patched.img

But the main problem is where to find boot image of oos11 for patching it with magisk?

your input in this regard will be much appreciated !

one more thing, after updating to oos11, my magnetometer sensor is gone. Even after rollback to oos10 didn't solve the problem !!

After installing Android 11 I am having problems with Google Pay, contactless via NFC

It works sometimes, but other times it doesn't and I have been unable to pay.

Do others have this issue? Is there a fix?

Due to delay oly I used oxygen updater... And it work fine no issues or bugs.. Oly concern thing is brightness, even if u low the brightness I feel like little bright compared to the previous version... Apart from that it's perfect buddy, using more than 24hrs in this new update, no issues faced. So u can download through oxygen updater 🙂
