You have two options forward... Download the stable update from Oxygen OS updater and flash it....
    Or wait patiently

Need more info than that. Download CPU-Z from the Play Store and screenshot the Thermals tab when it feels overly hot.

The only bug I encountered so far (after a factory reset) are:
    1. When loading games the frame rate when dragging down the notification tray will drop said:
    How to reproduce:
Open genshin impact or honor of kings (王者荣耀), when downloading resources after about 30 seconds, drag down the notification center or the game center from the corner, a noticable frame drop is seen.

    2. When doing picture in picture mode, there is frame drops when "throwing" the picture across the screen
    How to reproduce:
Open a video in firefox, press full screen, then the home button to enter picture in picture video playing. try to "throw" the video from bottom to top. frame drops will be seen

    3. When face unlock recognizes the face and shows the content of a notification, the expansion is jarring and not smooth
    How to reproduce:
Received a notification from a text messaging app. Lock the screen, then open the screen. After the face unlock recognizes the owner, the notification expands jarringly without animation.

I hear you Kainey. I half brained flashed yesterday and spent the next 5 hours, trying to unbrick my phone. All my data is gone +authenticator issues with facebook and messenger. Considering a downgrade and reflash, but it's never been a worse time for rooting than now

The Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting again and again and this is really frustrating. I do not wish to do a factory reset as it would take a lot of time to get everything back on the phone. Why a buggy update after taking so much time to get the update in the first place ?
This is really disappointing & not expected from OnePlus. This issue should be rectified immediately

    Update is very nice
Try wiping cache and every new system os requires clean installation if you study a bit instead of rant post

Not every system OS needs it. I have used both ios & android phones buddy. Maybe i could be a phone user before you started using phones too. Even when we got android 10, i didnt have to factory reset my phone, it worked absolutely fine without a reset too. Even with ios, i never had to factory reset my phone. So please spare me your "rant post" thingy
The only suggestion i found useful from your response was "wipe cache"
    Thanks for that though ☺️
