depends what you aim for. If you want bleeding edge testing, go for beta. OOS11 stable, seemingly, is revoked.

You will get ota even if you updated with the oxygen updater..
The oxgen updaer doesn't change your recovery or change anything to your phone only provides you the latest update so you could just flash it manually instead of waiting for staged ota

Please Install Oxygen Update App in Play store.
First download update and then install in setting / System update / Setting / local Update / and then install downloaded update.. your 11 ready for use.

I did a format factory before installing Android 11 and everything went well.
    Only battery consumption is excessive.

I did same , before and after update. Didn't work. The device is trash after official oxygen OS11 they released some days ago.
I have a question. Someone told me you were in a hurry to do the update. I'm asking... I'm in a hurry when I see an official update through system update? Should I smell my nails? And say oh yes it should be a stable update or... no, don't do it they add more bugs?!
OnePlus is responsible for releasing this update without testing or being sure.
As someone else said. Imagine buy an 800 euro device and after 1 year being trash. And now prices are higher , imagine paying 940 euro and after a year your device is trash....
For me also last OnePlus device is this one I got now, never again. A random Xiaomi device which costs max 200 euro is way better than my device after it got updated.
I'm not from India, I'm from Europe. Someone smart also said about Indian users... It's not their fault still... It's OnePlus' fault.
    GM 1913 model OnePlus 7 pro (8GB/256GB)
OS11 GM21BA was the buggy update I did.
Don't wipe cache or don't factory reset. It won't help your device.

I'm from Portugal too, and have no issues at all! Fast and smooth. Great rom OxygenOS 11, i was on OB 4. Now i'm on Stable 11 build. Don't have battery drain and heating issues. The battery is even better on this build that it was on OB4.
The majority issues and complains that i read here is from Indian people. I did a hard reset before and after install new OxygenOS Stable build. Not have any problems at all. My phone is working, very, very good and even faster with this build. Wi-Fi is working great, 5hz and 2.4hz, Bluetooth also, calls with VoLTE and without it very good, screen resolution great, camera's great, finger print unblock great!
So, i don't understand why are many people complaining about their phones!
The most pages here, people 1617565179256.jpg
were begging for Android 11, where's the update... I didn't received the update, where's the update... I'm not going to buy OnePlus brand again and bla, bla, bla, blsy!
Now that they receiving the update, and updated their phones, their are complaining about OxygenOS 11.
You have to learn how to use and update a smartphone because i don't know what the use and what are you doing to your phones!

Thanks for that info, but it is NOW April 3rd and there's NO update for regarding the 7Pro. This is my first time with OnePlus phones and I'm trying to be supportive of this brand. Overall, trying to contact Customer Service is frustrating and useless when talking with them because they aren't helpful at all with my phone issues. I really don't bother anymore which is very disappointing. I bought this phone because of all of the praise for the company, their phones, technology and updates. So WHEN is that update for 7Pro going to happen again?

Pretty sure it's been halted due to the amount of bugs people are reporting (namely the WiFi bug). Learn to have some patience or download it manually if you want it so badly.
