You didn't understand a word that I said right?
YES there will be bugs when you don't wipe data.
But "STABLE OTA UPDATE" are supposed to be at least common bugs free. General audience don't have time to wipe stuff... Thats why people buy Apple products cause "Ease of use" and "Reliablity"

My point isn't that one shouldn't wipe of data .... the point it there shouldn't be a prerequisite for the same

The choice wasn't Update(Bugs) vs Wipe Data ....

Normal people don't go wiping their phones during updates. Please see my phone history below. It was cool with wiping phone etc when I was a teen trying out custom roms .... but this isn't a CUSTOM ROM. its a STABLE UPDATE. and that shouldn't require wipe data.

Confirming fhd + 90hz results in unwakeable black screen from sleep. Also buggy resolution, small text on reboot. Swiping down notification bar = black screen.

    Qhd + 90, and FHD + 60 seem stable.

I see I must be lucky. I have installed latest update yesterday. Phone was a little bit slow for the first 15minutes after update, but then came back to full speed. Everything works great. The only thing that bothers me is that status bar when dropped down is dark grey instead of black but that is probably how Google invented it.

Okay alot of people with this question.
Amoled black as well as grey both use the same battery life.
It's a myth that pure black (turning off pixels completely will result in significant battery gains versus having a pixel turned on, It's not that simple it depends on what the brightness and colour of the tuned on pixel is).
Reality is --> Darker the pixel better the battery gain.
Brighter the pixel, Worse the battery loss.
And when it comes to a darker pixel that is grey vs completely turned off, The battery gain is negligible.
