Of course having an ALWAYS ON DISPLAY, impacts battery life. That's why many users, myself included, turn it off and are mystified why users prefer it over ambient display.

Look I use huawei, samsung, xiaomi and never and again never AOD take that battery drain. Also oneplus 6 didn't that much. And I'm heavy user 90% of my thing I do trough phone.
So how come rest do AOD and one plus didn't.
But my point is choice. If I want used turn on but I not have it either they promises AOD come with OS11 and didn't.
That the point not drain battery or others manufactures.

Hi, another bug or more cosmetics detail i found.

In revolut app, when we have welcome screen and we need to use our fingerprint, around fingerprint is so ugly design like no transparent background.

I can't show screenshot cause this apps not allowed, but open by yourself.

That should be fixed like it was in Android 10.

There's is more apps which have this problem.

I've also used devices with AOD, I've never found turning it off to not make an appreciable difference, but hey. As per the stickied post they are still working on a usable implementation, so do you want a poorly working AOD or too wait a while? I'm sure if enough users kick up enough fuss they could have a shitty implementation in our sweaty palms within a few days.

In the first couple of post update cycles, yes.

That true actually, if they put untested AOD many more people will moaning about that that true.
I use last 1 5 years 7tpro Mclaren without AOD I just miss that when I'm from oil or on roof and can't seen notification or time.

    Correct, that's the topic here....

If your question is "when do I receive the update" >>> it's a staged roll-out so the update will be distributed in waves within the next couple of days/weeks

I'm very excited to be receiving that version since the last beta version sucks and closes every app I use. Is really annoying. Btw, getting my OP9 today

The apps closing has nothing to do with the beta, and everything to do with Google screwing up an android system webview release.

Yeah might be. Thought it was the beta since I heard some other users were experiencing the same on past betas :)
