From everything you have listed, nothing is true at this time.
As for the camera, OnePlus has never had a top camera, rather mediocre, the proof is the collaboration with Hasselblad to improve the quality of the camera.
The first OnePlus phone I had was the OnePlus 3T, and I appreciate that it was a very good phone if we consider the price paid (440 euros) and what that phone offered.
The next phone, the current one, is OnePlus 7T Pro, it really had a top hardware endowment at the launch date, but the quality of the software was not up to expectations, software that is not at the level of the hardware endowment.
And now on the occasion of the first major update, to OxigenOS 11, OnePlus, for both 7T Pro and 7T, delivered a very poor quality update, called stable update that comes after 4 beta, and also behaves like a beta update, with many errors and malfunctions.
I think that those from OnePlus are no longer interested in the phones launched previously, only the ones launched now, the ones that are going to bring money. For the previously launched phone series, OnePlus collected the money ...

Is rollout for Android 11 complete? I haven't received it yet or for that matter security patch for Feb.

I'm not sure, but most likely you believe what you say / write. In sociology it has been described a few decades ago as a sense of the false consciousness. 🤣🤣🤣

I feel sorry for you, and I believe that your health will back again someday. 😉

    Cheers

That's because they pulled back the update due to the bugs mentioned in this thread.

It's just a shame how bad OxygenOS is managed rn. I bought the OP 2 back in the day and I was thrilled with fast updates and thus a relatively secure phone for such a long time. With the OP 7t I am no longer using my phone for banking, paying because it is legitimatly a security risk. And this might sound crazy for some people on here but I am genuinely considering buying an iPhone.

That's not true tho. System vulnerabilities get fixed through those patches. They are there for a reason. And OnePlus just keeps on pushing them too late. It's just so half-assed, that's why it's so frustrating.

I really couldn't care less about an 11 update and find the relentless posts here lamenting its absence pretty annoying, especially as most don't seem to have even bothered reading this thread before posting.
The hold up of a security update though is a concern and it's pretty disappointing this hasn't been addressed via an interim update.

All in all an increasingly unsatisfactory state of affairs I'm affraid to say and a lack of official communication about this isn't helping.

Yes the OS11 Update can wait, as long as we can have a safe experience. But taking too long for critical security updates is a pretty bad look.

Thing is my bank for example bars people with older android versions and outdated security patches from using their app. I know that's pretty harsh but it keeps a good standard of security. Should have added that before for context. Sry for that.

No worries. I also forgot to mention once you're back on the OS10 based beta, the system will give you an update to beta 4 again. So just ignore that, otherwise you can start all over again.
