If you really want it you can use Oxygen updater or the links from sites like XDA etc. But read some pages of this thread before you do, so you know what problems you might face after updating, and if you're willing to risk it or not.

Also I my google play music showing it no longer exist. I have saved all my songs there as oneplus does not have its own music application and now can cannot access them. I m super frustrated with this software update. I will not buy or suggest anyone to buy oneplus ever

That one is Google's fault, they decided to stop that app. They use YouTube music now as their music app instead of Google play. Haven't you got a mail or something to transfer your music to that app? Anyway, i think you can still transfer it via the YouTube music app now.

    Isn't that obvious?

Asking for an update that was promised to you when you purchased the device, is clearly a violation of the community rules and guidelines.

Especially, if you keep pestering them about it across multiple threads.

    Their website, their rules.

(N.B: Before you come at me with angry pitchforks, that was a sarcastic remark.)

That's the only reason I had always owned Nexus or Android One devices.
These companies just can't do it!
My first and last pathetic OnePlus experience

Go ban or send warning, you can't cover your incapabilities and failures by these things.
If you guys had been responsible enough, people won't have gone to different forums nagging about issues they are facing which are conveniently ignored. Obviously new model owners should know this, they'll also get abandoned soon.

This shitty forum is anyway of no use unless stakeholders come out and interact.

But unfortunately that doesn't change things for many users who are and still have to wait for it. Not to mention those who have updated and are stuck with broken camera's etc.

A few years ago I would have agreed with you but Android One devices generally aren't much better these days when it comes to timely updates, the hardware is pretty mediocre now too.
This is all very good news of course for Google and Apple as Pixel and iPhones are increasingly becoming the only reliable options when it comes to longevity.

This is all a bit of a bummer for the informed consumer as it seems the more saturated the market becomes, the less quality choice there actually is which is nuts!

The best and most accurate answer currently. Nobody has any idea what's happening with this Android 11 update. It sure as hell was a piece of buggy trash but for OnePlus to not even recognize is, I guess, classical OnePlus lol

then go instead of complaining, from your comment you sound more like a ios type.
its just a firmware, your mobile didnt break because its dosnt say 11 in a menu...
can you still call, text and go online? or did all that stop function because someone said 11 ? and not 10
