Why not? Do you think the shit would hit the fan ? Or even worse the sun would stop shining🙈 and Oneplus teamed up with Hasselblad so moon pictures are all the fashion.

I agree. They've lost any pull they had on me. I'll be jumping ship with my next phone.
My OP6 was an amazing phone they had a lifelong customer in me, had they kept the same mantra.
My OP7T, however, has not had a single day in almost a year of ownership without some sort of bug. Every time they "fix" something, they break something else.
Why oh why didn't they stick with 1, maybe 2 phones per year. Seems like they push out a phone every couple of weeks - pro, T, mclaren, Nord, kitchen sink! They've bitten off more than they can chew and it shows!

Out of curiosity, did you try turning off that battery life extending feature and then try doing full charge to 100% and then use it?

Also, I'm really curious, you charged phone fully 4 hours ago, and then continuously used it for next 3 hours 47 mins which is what SOT indicates. What kind of SOT are you expecting? Also SOT doesn't show full picture. Your phone will consume almost 3x-4x the power while playing Pubg or any other game than it would on lets say watching youtube and Netflix etc. So don't judge battery life by SOT only. Also observe what you used your phone for those 4 hours.

I don't have Idea about the battery life extending feature but yes. My phone was 100% charged and 17+% of the battery was used by Android system and I don't use any platforms like Netflix etc.. i usually use mobile for insta/fb/whatsapp most of the time and only play Clash of clans(not to often).
And please explain me that battery life extending feature.
I am actually expecting at least 5-6hrs of SOT which in my opinion is not touch for a flagship Device like OnePlus 7t.

I was referring to that Optimized Charging feature in your screenshot. And what you posted, your usage , it's actually quite normal for the SOT you have. I don't do any gaming on phone at all and my usage has whatsapp, Google duo calls, and YT and I usually get about 4 hours SOT before phone drops to 20-25%

Actually I was getting 5-6 hours of SOT, but It dropping to 4 hours is significant. It's 20% drop... And I usually use wifi rather than using 4g data.. So if I start playing games then I think I'll hardly get 1-2 hours of SOT 🤷🏻‍♂️ And my handset is not even a year old. I've bought it last year on 30 may.
