    Well, it took couple of tries,
    But check the downloaded file and make sure the file name ends with ".zip" my file got ".jar" after .zip I deleted it and it worked.

    I tried that too but it says since the file is lower than the current version downgrade is not allowed. Idk what else to do

    It's been more than 7 days now since stable version of OS 11 is rolled out. But still I didn't get the update till now. How long will it take ?
    How trustworthy is oxygen updater app? It asks for incremental or full update during setup, which option should I select and it will be like beta or other source download of OS ?

    Dude you're definitely aren't the poorer cousin, but be glad that you didn't receive this version, it's buggy as hell, do not install it. There are so many problems with it.

    I don't think that it is like samsung ui,,,,,, for me it looks like stock android with extra features and i love it more than the previous oxygen os 10, plus it is more smooth and faster than android 10 , till now no lag,,,,only those apps which are not updated to make compatible with Android 11 can be a problem . But that is the mistake of app developer and not oneplus . So for me its a thumbs up now.

    I have a big battery drain since android 11 on my oneplus 8,before it was between 9 and 10h sot, now it went down to 5 6h.
    Anybody facing the same problem?

    i was write earlier how to fix all bugs heating and battery draining after huge upgrade.
    1.install 11 android
    2. take all pics music files or everything you need and backup to pc
    3. go to recovery and make wipe full delete all files everything
    4. start as fresh phone setup everything update all apps from playstore install your need apps.
    5. charhe phone to 100 and leave 15 min when its reach 100. enjoy no battery drain no crashing. 🎉👍
