Cool. I don't think anyone from OOS development team mentioned there will be 3 rows because Google only released to row version in their stock update ( I know they can do 3 rows though)

As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we'll begin a broader roll out in a few days.

First of all Apple provides day 1 update because they have the full control over the OS and hardware. Also iOS is not fragmented.
Google does the same because they are the ones to release the new version of Android , so they have time to make it and test it for other reviews.
Other OEMs can't do Day 1(Stable), updates because
1: They don't have the stable source code at hand
2: Their version of Android is tweaked/ modified from the stock version
3: It requires a lot of time and money to update so many devices in their portfolio.
4: They want their newer devices to sell

It's a Trusted app. They provide update directly from OnePlus servers. Before you download file need to select region of your device.

You need to download full zip file of stable build from OnePlus servers and backup your device data during installing Stable Build. Bcz it may cause a data loss.
