How can I test it to confirm that it stays locked? Is there a setting I should turn on or off? Thanks in advance for your support. .

I am using Oneplus 8pro, I installed oxygenos 11 with the last update. The system interface has completely changed, the texts are bold and very large. The animations on the search screen have been removed and I am faced with a very rushed interface. I would like to ask for help in this matter. This is the first time I've come across such an update. I would download and install it without thinking beforehand. This did not suit the oneplus company at all. A complete disappointment.

Look on the top. The bar notification is on the option of camera.

Yeah there's multiple display character overlapping issues. I faced similar stuff on whatsapp where the text box was not proportionate with the characters. Really annoying!

You do realise that with a carrier locked phone your update comes from the carrier and not OnePlus.

Yeah I realize that. It bothers me, so I'm planning to go straight unlocked going forward because I hate waiting ha ha.

Ah my bad, didn't realize your on a TMO OnePlus. In this case you would need to flash a normal OOS Image first, which is a little bit more complicated. For your phone T-Mobile is In charge of the updates.
