  1. Michał Dzięcielski , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Oct 29, 2020 :
unfortunately I have to say this is my last smartphone from OnePlus. How long can you have problems with the phone for 1100 €. Has anyone checked this update at all before it was released. So many bugs and problems. 19 days from release and still no fix. Goodbye and no greetings

This update has come in a certain rush and is only released for broadcast. I am a very good observer, as someone who uses the phone constantly, there are clear mistakes. I have used Xiaomi had the same problems. But the Oneplus raised the bar so high that it confused people. Nobody expected anything like that. The expectation is very high. But OS11, which is full of problems, is still on the update screen. It had to be acknowledged the problems and a written explanation and apology.

Haven't noticed any major bugs yet. Battery life is low compared to android 10. And I am unable to download from Amazon prime videos. There is a slight colour change in OnePlus launcher. Hopefully we will get a patch soon

Maybe it's because you are using a OnePlus 6 and not the OnePlus 8 series

Download using the Oxygen updater app, I recommend doing a clean install so make a backup of anything important, I'm in UK, did it this way and don't have any of the bugs others are experiencing.

Front camera is pathetic, have raised concerns over few customer support email threads. Seems like they don't care!

Being within the official support period, both the phone and the operating system can not ask any user to reset the phone to factory settings and reinstall all its applications and information so that the update to Android 11 does not give problems.

It is the Android version developer's responsibility to make the installation transparent to the user. This has been done by Oneplus since the Oneplus One appeared. No major version upgrade has ever required a hard reset.

I praise OnePlus for theirs efforts to bring us Android 11 quickly , it's not perfect but it's here and I'm of those who hard resetted theirs phones .
They will correct it and the 8 pro is an awesome phone .
The market is huge and if you are really unhappy you can switch ... I think we are facing things much worse than some bugs on a phone .

So should I wait for any update or send the device for replacement
