You wait for oneplus ota. Or go on Oxygen Updater App on playstore. If you are on beta you need to downgrade to 10 first then update. If update from beta this will wipe your phone so make sure you back up first. Backup before is wise anyway.

Root directory is the base level storage.

If you are using file manager, tap on Storage at the base of the screen, then Internal storage.

If you have already moved the file to this location and still can't see it when you try and update, make sure the filename ends in '.zip'. If there is a '.jar' file extension, remove it by renaming (delete the '.jar') the file in file manager.

Any rollback to a previous version will wipe your data, so make sure you back everything up and copy the backup to a PC/Laptop or cloud storage.

My first impressions are really great: no problems so far, the phone is still very reactive, the display is nicer with better fonts.

The design look of the AOD is really cool as well 😎

Very satisfied and impressed so far.

It was worth the waiting for sure.

Nice icons, stable launcher, new gestures, not bad at all.

It really gave a new fresh look and update to my device!

Let's see the battery drain but so far so good.

The removal of permissions for the wide angle and telephoto lenses had caused big problems when using creative apps like FiLMiC Pro.
This is hugely frustrating, I have reached out to the developers at FiLMiC and they responded the below statement confirming it is an issue with OnePlus.

Got new update as well. Too soon to say something but : seems really better ( didn't have major issues before): smoother, font and display better and smoother camera for me. No lag anymore between the camera and Google photo when I switch (Google photo is my default gallery I uninstalled OnePlus gallery).
Let's see the battery improvements 😎
