Got new update as well. Too soon to say something but : seems really better ( didn't have major issues before): smoother, font and display better and smoother camera for me. No lag anymore between the camera and Google photo when I switch (Google photo is my default gallery I uninstalled OnePlus gallery).
Let's see the battery improvements 😎

Hello, I just purchased a 8 Pro from Oneplus site, will it come with OxygenOS 11 out of box? If not can I download OxygenOS 11 directly from the phone? is it still in beta or it has been officially rolled out?

    It's officially been rolled out.

I imagine with almost all 8 Pro/8/8T devices that the OOS 11 update will be available straight away

I don't know the practice Oneplus does. But the firmware at the point of delivery can vary depening on manufacturing date. I don't know if they install 11 right from the factory though.
However. Upgrades to 11 should be offered automatically when setting up the device. If it is delayed longer than what you like to wait you can always upgrade manually.

I upgraded my phone one week ago.
2 new issues with OxygenOS 11:
    - when I loose or disable WiFi, mobile data connection is not restored (I have to disable and enable again mobile data)
    - my phone was so slow today that I had to reboot (with difficulty)

Yes, if it is the rollback in beta 1 thread you have seen.

It will eventually come with some patience I guess. The stable version is just great and worth the waiting believe me 😉

I received my 8 Pro today and it's still version 10.5, been using the phone for 5+ hours and still haven't receive the OTA update yet. What's the easiest and safest way to upgrade to OxgenOS 11 other than waiting for the OTA update? Thanks.

You must check system update through the system preferences to receive the OTA as soon as it will become available for your device. Otherwise, I would not recommend using third party updaters as they will completely wipe out your device most of the time and provide you with system versions with instability issues.

I'm not receiving any related notifications, the problem is that suddenly the system slow down, freezes and then the UI crashes. Anyway I'll report it.
