Quick question . Is there anyway to prevent the AoD to stay center screen vs rotating ? Not sure if I missed it ....I have the preference of staying in one location....if not I can live with it was just wondering....I'm assuming it was meant to rotate to avoid screen burn or sum...

I will transfer to Oxygen 11 when it be ready and clean. For now it's mess, HUUUUGE awful unreadable fonts, bugs in animation, awful battery drain in AoD and in general, grey instead of black dark mode, etc etc. I expect improvement and i get mid range experience with my Oneplus 8 pro. Never ever expect such miserable update from a trusted company like Oneplus.

Can you please add the option to turn off that creepy EIS for video in stock app? It's only add artifacts in low light. I need just toggle in camera app settings.

    tried everything.

    1. wipe cache
    2. hard reset
    3. used 1 sim only
    4. swap sim cards
    5. roll back to 10 and upgrade again to 11

it will only work fine if i set the signal into 2G only.

note: we have now 6 reports in our group with the same issue not only with the 8 pro but oneplus 8 as well. both IN2020 and IN2023 having the same issue.

This issue was present in Beta 2.

I have the Open Beta? Would I receive the OTA notification or shall I take it back to the older version?

So the update landed today and it is not total catastrophe I was expecting it to be. My only complaint is that if you provide an option to select a font, the same font should be applied on Notification and Lockscreen. But they both are coded to be on OnePlus Sans which looks pretty terrible (even more so from accessibility point of view, which was ironically the goal of new UI).

When in recovery me & hubby both get the option to wipe data & cache but not just the cache. What does that option do as we don't want to factory reset. How do you just wipe the cache please?

No... Beta gets beta updates. You have to manually download and install Stable. But that will wipe the phone. Everything was described in the beta threads. Betas will continue... I'm waiting on beta 3 myself.

Why? It was released yesterday, it could take hours or weeks to roll out to your device, the 14th is the 8T announcement nothing to do with OOS11 now.

Welcome to the famous Oxygen OS experience mate! Something you won`t hear about in all the payed reviews on YouTube! They always release complete useless crap just to say that they are first and after that it takes months and months to bring the software anywhere near to being ok to be used. They ruined my 6t like that and I got rid of the phone 5 months after and most of the issues weren`t fixed... But this is what happens when the GREED kicks in and when you release 5 devices per year when you are not able to support eve one properly!

This OTA won't have the fix so it does not matter if people flash manual or wait for this OTA, I am guessing with the amount of issues some are facing though that a fix will be released soon via a new OTA

Pixel phones with android 11 has better battery backup as compared to android 10.
You can check the comparison on youtube.
Android 11 is the best but oxygen 11 is ugly!
    both Lookwise & performance wise.

thanks for the OxygenOs 11 but I have two problems :
CAMERA and FLASHLIGHT don't work with OS 11 Beta and also OS 11 Official
I had no problem with OS 10.

    My phone : OnePlus 8 (IN2013).

Unfortunately the roll out can take a long time, some people only recently received the 10.5.13 update and that was released almost 2 months ago so you can wait for it to hit or update via one of the other methods.
