Not everyone has a device like a computer or so to back stuff up to. And doesn't matter if you're backing stuff up on your mobile storage, in case of a factory rest, that's going to be wiped nonetheless. Be considerate or just don't reply. It's easy.

Stable version of Oxygen OS 11 will be available after OB 2 or OB 3. They clearly specified based on data collected from OPEN BETA users stable version release will be scheduled. So
OPEN BETA users provide your feedback about OB OS 11 , bugs and issues present in this build through FEEDBACK section. If these users won't provide proper feedback , stable version will be buggy

There is always the cloud. And with red cable club you get like free months or something... Going back from beta to stable will erase data anyway even if this update won't.

Will add to this, the amount of "I lost all my important data" thread's here in forums could have been prevented with a backup. That's why I point it out, I know some don't have the tools needed for backing up. But then again Open beta is really don't meant for the masses... I don't care about someone not backing up if they know the risks, but 99% of the threads that lost everything blame OnePlus for it instead of themselves

Yes. But going from beta to stable will erase data, so remember to backup.

Was on stock oos 10 OB19 and updated via ota. Why is the internal storage mounted twice?
/dev/fuse is mounted at /storage/ace-999 along with the usual one at /storage/emulated
Is this a bug or a feature? I've not been keeping up to date with android11 features but the name ace-999 doesn't seem too generic for it to be part of os file structure
