Just came back o line and wow... 126 pages for this thread already.

Beta 1... Terrible update, can't please them all though.

Incase anyone cares these are problems I've found or still have and have had added.

-One handed mode promised 6 months ago still not there.
-Gps bug that's been there since device release still not sorted.
    -Screen brightness bar lags now.
-Haptic feedback is weird as ****.
-Looks like and feels like a cheap One UI.
-Bloatware apps still consistent and unable to uninstall, gamespace, zen mode
-Google now feed STILL not integrated most likely never will be now.
-Shelf is bright blue and destroys my own personal customisation with my device on dark mode so now it's just disabled completely, what a waste.
-If keep shelf it's animation left to right is all over the place.
-Takes longer to restart and after restart it lags for a good 30 seconds doesn't register finger touches correctly during this time.
-Alarm bug set to snooze never came back on.
-facebook messenger pop up is gone and forced to use bubbles
-AOD not what it was made out to be
-Added a Ego trip of commendations in the settings menu for all the moderators and Devs that plague the community...more bloat info.
-Bluetooth issue with a set of my wireless earbuds that worked before
-Still no proper support for OnePlus own brand buds...like wtf.
-Releases a beta with December security update when the January one was released nearly 3 weeks ago is just lazy Dev work.
    -Camera software is still atrocious.
    -Lots other niggly bits..

To know the android 11 dev previews were release in February 2020 and this is what OP have produced since then is pretty shocking and just shows how far the company is failing and falling.

All in all, Never Settle has become Settle for Less...

    Putty 👋

Most of these are not even a problem. Because you have listed down your own dislikes. If you don't like zen mode, gamespace etc. You shouldn't have bought OnePlus at the first place and if you want a clean stock experience please switch to pixel. The list you just mentioned have few genuine problems like alarm bug, Facebook bubble notification, restart time, haptic feedback etc. And I agree these problems were not supposed to be there in first place!! Note that I am not a fanboy of OnePlus and I agree that they have been a little slow and inconsistent with their updates. But I am a developer and I know how challenging it is to make a fully optimised OS and how difficult it is to rollout the updates when you have a large number of devices across the world.

It's a fu**ing flagship phone bro!!! People expect fast and good updates! You say it's difficult but we have paid 37k for this phone so understand. The company has to provide us what they owe!

Couple of issues with the open beta. I hope I can post them here? Please advise if these should be posted elsewhere.

    1. Laggy/choppy scrolling in Google Chrome
    2. Warp charging is not as fast as it should be (compared to android 10)
    3. Cannot open Telegram messages from notification bar
    4. Gallery reloads everytime I open it

No other issues have been experienced

You aren't downgrading to a major android release, the roll back build in this thread takes you back to the latest Oxygen os 10 open beta, you CAN flash the latest stable build over that.

This is why I think where the main problem of Oneplus is nowadays. Bringing too many devices on the market. This is why their focus on the software side is lacking.

Wondering how many ppl didn't make a clean install. After a major update, a clean install is strongly recommended in order to have the best experience possible. Ofc, the OS is not perfect.
