Not really tbh. Even the cameras suck majorly when you compare them to an iPhone. Why pay flagship prices when you get mediocre shit?

I'm happy with the camera too. However the macro lense makes no sense.

It's not set in stone, but the next one should come approximately around the end of this or beginning of next month

Yeah, but with oneplus you never know, so i left a bit of wiggle room, it's just a guessing game anyway when it comes to updates

Yes. When installing you are asked to do a factory reset.

I think the primary reason for moving away from a OnePlus flagship will definitely be this "begging for updates" thing. Looking at the current experiences of OnePlus 7 series users and starting to see the trend with OnePlus 8 series, the way they deal with their previous flagships is outright disdainful.

Agreed, it takes time, development efforts and all sorts of things. But you are providing 2 years of OS updates anyways! Atleast, for the 2 years, it should be worthy of being a flagship user! Don't you guys think users deserve this?

What on earth would inspire people to move to OnePlus when they realise that for all the money (and you ARE me moving away from a flagship-killer to flagship, mind you) they put in, the company does not even prioritise them for 2 years!
