Dear Team, Below important features are Missing in Android 12/Oxygen Os 12 update in OnePlus 8 which were there earlier in OS 11

    (1) Quick Call Widget
    (2) Swipe up on home screen to Search
    (3) Quick Sim Setting in notification bar
    (4) Default call sim settings for individual contacts

These all features were there in Oxygen Os 11 , Android 11. Before rolling the update, OnePlus team should atleast ensure that existing features should continue in next built.

OnePlus CEO should intervene on such type of things

By updating this update the charging of the smartphone is getting lower without any uses and the charging is getting low in a very less time . The work must be done on charging issue?

Since OOS 12 update, games like CoD Mobile, Brawl stars etc doesn't run at 90 fps, always at 60, if i restart, games work at 90 fps for frew minutes only.

Battery draining issue, slow charging issue and heating issue and so many after updating this version. I think it's time to move on. OnePlus will never settle on their bugs to be honest.

After this update the mobile gets very hot in normal use, it drains the battery very fast, I already formatted the device thinking that it would be enough but it is not, it is my first OnePlus brand phone and I decided on this brand for its software when in truth it was oxygen, but now i am very disappointed, they have lost all their essence and i am sure that my next phone will not be a oneplus

Are there any benefits to switching from IN2025 to IN 2023? Does it involve data loss?

I'm going to try it out:
    1. download the 3.9GB file
    2. make a back up
    3. install the OxygenOS 12 update
    4. reset the device to avoid old cache conflicting with the new OS
    5. try it out, if too buggy I will go back to Android 11
