A1603284964329 , May 29, 2022 : Same here. And please do not say 'Use oxygen updater'. OOS12 has been out for weeks, maybe even over a month, how come our devices are still on OOS11 with no update? I know the "the Update is shit, so it's better for you" argument, but that's a different story.

RubenFuertes , via OnePlus 8 , May 29, 2022 : Trust me. You don't want this. I would go back to OOS11 if I didn't have to do so many steps. I'm just waiting for a miracle update at this point. They removed the option to uninstall any app from your home screen (you could solve this with a custom launcher but every 3rd party launcher glitches when you go to the home screen and there is no fix for that). Custom icons? Forget about it. Almost all google apps can't be uninstalled or disabled. AOD turns your screen on with the tiniest movement of the phone (tap to show AOD is gone. WhatsApp incoming calls don't wake up your screen, you have to unlock your phone and then accept the call through your notifications. Also, WhatsApp camera pictures and video are stretched. Gmail app is worthless now, you will not get any notification from any incoming message, i'm using a third party mail app called spark so I can know when I get a new message. These are just a few issues with it. I have listed all I could find in a post I made here. I have reported each one and i get the same canned response from them telling me to send log files (which I did) and then I never hear from them again.

laikexpert , May 29, 2022 : Nova launcher works wihout any problems. One Tap to show AOD works without any problems. I do not have any specific problems in daily use of OxygenOS 12 P.S. OnePlus 8 Pro Model IN2023 (EU) OxygenOS 12 C.16 (EU) .
