That's it, I finally had enough of this cringe Android 12 "upgrade".

When OB1 came out, I and others reported many issues such as wrong accent colors in some areas, wrong CPU listed, phone reboots twice every reboot, missing critical features that were in Android 11, a ton of apps unnecessarily made into "system" apps that can't be disabled, etc. None of that was fixed and instead the beta version was released as "stable". Now even more bugs are introduced with each small update they release. As of C.16 all the previously reported issues are still there AND my phone often refuses to end calls unless I reboot the phone (it will say the call is in progress and no way to force stop app to fix), mobile hotspot data is completely 100% broken, and my phone started randomly rebooting itself every few minutes while on a long drive back home from a city far away - only fixable by disabling bluetooth.

My solution to a usable OS? LineageOS 19.1 unofficial build from XDA. Rooted and with safetynet passed with MHPC and USNF. Zero major bugs to speak of - my calls end when I tell them to, phone only reboots once when you tell it to reboot once, system runs WAY smoother, no more random reboots when using Android Auto with bluetooth, can use DarQ to get the per-app dark mode feature back (thanks again for removing this without any replacement OnePlus! Way to "Never Settle"!) Sad to see how far OnePlus has settled - a FREE 3rd party ROM is more stable and runs better than the one from the actual company that made the phone with paid developers to work on it. I don't know what else to say about this sad state of affairs. Hopefully this encourages someone else to try LOS.

Hey guys I have a query!
Last month this update had rolled out IN: IN2021_11.C.15, but due to major reporting of bugs I stayed on OS 11 and didn't get updated with OS12, after few days the update disappeared and now whenever I check for update it shows your system is up to date. Has it happened with any of you guys ?
And if it is normal what about our security updates of March and April @OnePlus ?

Bro u should update it to Os12 Coz if u don't update the device will be vulnerable .They have updated the security patches for Os 12 . Os 12 is stable and bug free for me After that C.12 update caused some heating issues nd some screen Frame drop while playing PUBG . skipped C.16 update nd Yesterday released C.17 update heared some bugs nd didn't updated yet .

which ROM are you talking about? I don't see any LineageOS 19.1 ROM for OP8Pro in XDA

Friend, I think this is a hardware problem and not software. If this happens even with it restarting, it's hardware, if not, try formatting.

Did you format the phone after updating? My main option is this. I will only update if I do this later. Unfortunately there are many bug reports, I'm waiting to see if they go Solve most of them. Even Google pay doesn't work in the last update.
