Obviously they aren't capable enough to create stable OS, a lot of other manufacturers already deployed stable version to their devices and not only to flagships, but OP obviously don't have the team that can deliver it. We can only imagine how poor will Android 13 and 14 delivery be. Sad, but I think this is my last OP phone, there is no point to have great hardware without OS that can support it and follow.

You are right but so am I: OP(po) f*cked A12 rollout, but thank god they are using others than Europeans as crash test dummies, har-har :D

A11 Oxygen works fine, what's the hurry, keep calm or buy Pixel

You are of the very few to say go for it, people keep saying the s21u is by far superior like for battery, personally I wouldn't mind losing 30mn of SOT but not an hour. What about custom roms? They can fix OOS bugs?

It's all about their loud announcement not the hurry, if they kept it quiet I wouldn't even mentioned it. The fact that OP 9 Pro is still considered as a flag ship and for the cost of it I really expect it to be on the latest OS without any bugs. If I had low end or middle end device I wouldn't ask for anything but patiently wait until update hits it, but for the price we paid for it and the class this phone is put this is just not acceptable.

You can't. C38 is the EU version, which hasn't been officially released by OnePlus, and so far there is no C40 version(or any other version for that matter) released for the EU, only for India/global

I'm done with OnePlus phones. Paid 1000 euro for this "flagship phone" to get a bs cam app, ugly photos, bugs after bugs and the list can go on. If this is the way that OnePlus treates their customers then you are doomed!

But the s21u is a Samsung, so personally I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. As I say I've not actually encountered any OOS bugs on Android 11, so far, so see no need to flash a custom OS to avoid them. Take into account flashing custom ROMs , wont void your warranty on an OP device and is 100% reversible.

But which file do I pick for global?
When I updated it was a global Link but for A11 I can't find a global Link anywhere. My phone is a OnePlus 9 pro 2125
