I'm having the same experience with AOD. Thought it'd be a bug. But, the energy saving option of AOD says, that the screen will be off if the device isn't move for some time. So it seems to be a feature to turn it on when you move it. It's doesn't turn of if the screen is covered by a case or if you carry it in your pocket. So cover it or switch it off. Perhaps there will be more options in the future.

Same problem with the alarm clock here... No possibility to snooze it directly. I have to unlock the phone to turn it off. I am waking up everyone every morning...

If this is a feature no one even thought about this for a second... If I turn the AOD completely off I won't get any message notifications on the display... Just tested it.

You should be able to disable the movement detection completely!!!

Oooo my goodness it almost feels like my phone is ruined 😁
So laggy/slow with almost everything and quite buggy it seems, and so many things just changed for me 🤯
Yeah, will have to try that reset

Bring back compact view in the drawer menu - the spacing between icons is way too big
Bring back the option to edit icons
Add tethering options after long press Personal Hotspot icon
Folders should open on the bottom of the screen - who thought that moving it to the top is a good idea?!
Camera App layout sucks - why is everything so BIG now?!

Some tested and fix...my opinion is reset network settings only..and couple of restarts...maybe this will help...and also clean junk files with google files app...nothing to lose...

Correct, in the future you need to clear cache separately for every app that isn't working normally.

For me battery life is better than on any previous A11 or A12 build.
    What's the issue with AOD?

AOD is incosistent since android 12 update
sometimes the fingerprint won't show up even when I hold the device so I have to unlock through power button
most of the time it shows messages and facebook messanger notifications even when I don't have any new notifications
plus after c.44 update the battery is draining so fast

    OP9Pro with EU LE2123_11_C.44_202201182111 update

List of Issues I've found so far:

    Connectivity Issues:

    - This is the biggest one: My device isn't detected by any PC to file transfer, the phone just charges no matter what cable I use (TypeC to TypeA (two different cables) and TypeC to TypeC OP standard one) and tested it in my HP elitebook work laptop and my ATX PC. Changed all settings in USB preferences and Developer options, no solution so far. This has made me swear x1000 times.
To rollback this update I luckily had a typeC USB stick plugged through OTG to the phone to transfer ALL my photos, videos and Whatsapp data to not lose everything, taking several hours of course. This has annoyed me to unexpected levels.

    - Haven't been able to test the 5G issue myself but added as bonus.

    Display scaling and text issues:

    - Google Discover is twice the size of my scaling setting (no disable option also), app icons in app drawer don't scale properly and show a 4x grid instead of the OOS11 5x grid, no app name under. Lacks overall support for scaling in O.S menus also.

    - Almost all text menus and notifications are Bold, Including app text, changing fonts back and forth just glitches everything more.

    Display Issues:

    - Intermitent flickering during some transitions.

    - Flickering in the notification screen when the phone is about to lock, whether is after recieving a notification or just tapping it.

    - Sudden brightness changes in adaptive brightness mode.

    Battery Issues:

    - Battery drain was pretty bad, could get 3/4 of the usual battery life.

    - After Hard Reset battery improved, but the phone wasn't really usable.

    UI Issues:

    - Looks rushed and ported straight from an OPPO phone, which I'm not a fan of.

    - Transitions are really slow, botheringly slow. Needed to accelerate them through Dev.Options.

    - Text is completely messed, sometimes bold, sometimes regular, sometimes font is bigger than the setting, etc.

    - Almost no customization... C'mon, this was what OOS was all about, clean, snappy, fast, customizable.

    - Swiping to home lags sometimes and looks like a cheap phone.

Finally rolled back to OOS11 and no plans to upgrade to 12 anytime soon. That being said I'll never buy a OP again, sadly, bb op5, op6t and op9pro.
