Having been the first to test the stability of OxygenOS 12, this update first started to roll out to our Open Beta and Closed Beta users. They received the update a few days ago as a sneak peek of the first stable build and, now, the wider rollout to stable users is starting as well. Thanks for your participation and feedback, it is deeply appreciated!

Oxygen OS 12 to 11 rollback guide - via Local OTA update.

Finally, Oxygen OS 12 has arrived. If you, for some reason, need to roll back to 11 this is how you do it.
It would be great if you also could report in this thread the reason why you are rolling back.

You can find the needed files here:

If the Local Update app does not find the downgrade file YRJs instructions below would help.

And everybody is happy everybody is sad (edited 12 Dec)

edit: so if a bug is submitted, bug hunters will react to that? As from what I see, the last reply made by a bug hunter in that section dates from somewhere mid November and the majority of the bug hunters stopped replying somewhere first half of October? Makes one wonder what use the feedback section still has?

    edit: 11 December,

as this is the first “not sticky” post and the fact OnePlus doesn’t care informing people present on these forums:

    This update is suspended

So better use this information to your favour and don’t update through the Oxygen Updater either

    Edit: 12 December

It seems some people still receive the OTA notification after they reverted back to A11. Should you receive the OTA notification, Don’t download it for now, check the build nr, if it’s the same, don’t download and install it.

(Would be nice to know what happens if someone would hit the download and install button but I’m not sure if you can stop the download or if you can delete the OTA file from the file manager with all the changes that have been made)

I wonder if they are, like no mobile data, not able to make calls but making calls is so ‘00, who needs that. Oh and all of a sudden some have found out the have an 855 processor, I gues that’s for Phones produced in India. I guess about the phone had a bug in Android 11…

but maybe they fixed stuff between the release yesterday and the opening of this thread because weird enough it took them long enough to open this one.

Whatsapp parallel isnt able to log on web.
    No call recording app.
Miss the old phone and contacts app.

I don't think this is stable, people are encountering bugs.

OnePlus had a very big post for XPAN feature but they can't even explain new features in a major update like android 12.
There's no mention of camera UI changes from OOS11 to OOS12
Nothing about battery, speed, system. They didn't even tell that they have changed battery UI and that now includes HIGH PERFORMANCE MODE.
    They didn't had a post for OOS12OB3.

I never say things like this but this time I think, ONEPLUS IS evolving. JUST BACKWARDS.

It is not stable. I tried to update yesterday. This is the same build. One Plus have not received enough complaints yet concerning problems with network so most likely they aren't even aware
