in beta 1 it was so that after changing the dpi it changed to the default after a while. Is that also the case here? stay on 11 or install beta 2?

Tbh, i would prefer that over the way Oppo has implemented that. From what i saw that only adjusts the accent color in the notification panel and in the settings menu to the wallpaper colors, whereas Google's way adjusts the icons as well. If recently installed lawnchair 3 launcher, which is based on Android 12, and that supports Google's way of theming too and i really like it, although the theming doesn't change the icons from third party apps yet, same as with Google. But, OnePlus might just do it the way Oppo does, given the merge thing.

    But more polished
That's what was important since ob1 had a lot of glitches.
Ob3 can be new features and stuff

can you explain the bugs you are experiencing?
because I don't get any significant bugs.
    quite reasonable for beta software.
I just can't activate LIVE CAPTION.
other than that it runs fine.

A but of feedback on OnePlus 9:
    - 5G works just fine with VoLTE enabled under Swisscom network
    - I can't show the notification drawer even if the setting in notification & status bar -> pull down on lock screen is enabled
    - home control in the power menu are strange: when I try to add new tiles, I can't see anything in my home. I need to open the home app and update a couple of times. After a bit, the tiles show up again, but as long as I do not close the settings and I reopen them.
    - the home control tiles in the power menu are not centered
    - when I double click a notification in the lock screen, I should be asked for the finger print first, and then for the password. At the moment the keyboard shows up, then I need to close it to put my finger print

My mobile phone has been upgraded to beta2. It loses power quickly and generates a lot of heat.

I cannot actually say what the issue is, however I have tried many solutions (like clearing data for photos app, gallery app, camera etc. cleared cached) I was only able to get it to work normally after factory reset. After that, the phone works close to perfect

I don't know if this has been posted already. If so, I appologize for posting it again.

I just found a great new feature (?) in OOS12 which, if I remember correctly, has been often asked for in OOS11.
Now you can disable taking screenshots with Volume down + Power Switch. You find it in the Settings/System settings/Convenience tools/Screenshot. There is also a new(?) gesture for taking a partial or scrolling screenshot.
