It is absolutely ridiculous that there hasn't been a bug fix released for this. No other company would release a new version of an OS that doesn't work, and then not fix it...

Or at least to stop it from being distributed...Incredible! They have ruined, from my point of view, their reputation.
The experience with the phone is below any standards,...

Ermm nope, it doesn't help me feel better, I didn't buy it because it was a budget phone, its overall cost at time of purchase (shipping expenses + conversion rate) was more than a brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 in my country ! I bought it because I thought I would get updates "very" fast since it runs on a near stock OS ! I can't understand how my old HTC One M8 got Marshmallow and the OnePlus 2 didn't (not to mention the LG G4 with its heavy skin or the SGS 6!!)

They are very quite i admit. I don't demand the mm not yet ;) Q1 will have to end first. But some updates on how things is going wouldn't kill anyone.

Marshmallow doesn't interest me. For me it is just a "nice to have". I just want a flawless and smooth working phone.

Unlucky mate, I suggest you sell it ASAP to get some of your money back. One Plus have become a generic oem and updates will always be incredibly slow. If they can't update lollipop with the new security patches every month then how can we expect them to give us a brand new os update in a timely manner?

    Unfortunately you're right :(

But there's hope: boeffla joined the DEV team / helps oneplus. Maybe he put his knowhow in the kernel so oneplus can profit from him the next kernels (/ android versions)..

I'm not. I'm buying another phone and going office space on this thing if I have to wait another 3 months for an update.

I would love to use the Boeffla kernel but the Barclays app which I use almost daily won't run on a rooted phone. It seems it won't even run on a phone with the root masked and flags up the device and won't even run if you later unroot it. So I'm stuck with this c**p software
