    Berg P. , Sep 21, 2016 :
    Hi all,

We are starting the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 2.2.3 for the OnePlus X.

This is a prerequisite for the coming Marshmallow of OnePlus X.

    Here are some highlights:
    • Implemented September Android security patches
    • Added necessary dependencies for Marshmallow upgrade
As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we'll begin a broader rollout tomorrow.

Your feedback is appreciated. We may not always be able to respond to every comment in the forums, but please be assured that we take your comments and feedback seriously. Hope you enjoy!

    Edit:
The Quadrooter security patch will be included in the next OTA, which should roll out in the next two weeks. We apologize for the previous miscommunication.

    Thanks man!

Any indication as to when the OTA for M will roll out, or are you still ironing out bugs on that?

Grrr, with that, we'l have to wait 2 more weeks at least, until everybody has upgraded to that, before MM release...
But thanks for the work anyway. Beta 3.1.1 is great except battery drain.

Could you just add "This version DOES NOT SUPPORT VOLTE !!".
Maybe, it would save a ton of unusefull posts and new topics.

Ummm, how is that? No battery drain here, sure there is nothing in the background chewing the juice away?

...got notified of new update in mainland Europe maybe 30mins ago. Downloaded and installed smoothly. Its a quick update.

After restart everything works beautifully. No glitches here so far!

Thanks OP team for this update and paving the way for the mayor MM update!!!

Same as other, it was Wifi drain, then even cutting it, it was always here. I made what was asked (erase networks registered, wipes, cut wifi on idle..).
After a while it has vanished (on some charges), but instead, I have a Google service drain instead.
Something about localisation. I sometimes have the localisation icon in the bar, but it should not be here...

OMG thanks for the new update Team, bcz since the last update the network switching is not working fine. Looking forward OOS 2.2.3 OTA will help to avoid it....!

    Hi,
I own a Oneplus X and today I installed the update of Oxygenos 2.2.3 but I'm still vulnerable to the Quadrooter virus :(( we need a hotfix as soon as possible..

I'm currently using oxygen OS 3.1.1 and I'm quite satisfied with the performance. To those who have installed this, can you please answer the following questions:
    * has the issue with video playback in apps like YouTube, Twitter and vine as well as the video recording in low light been fixed?
    * has there been performance improvements like in the marshmallow build?
    * does this include the stock gallery and music apps?
    * Is it worth installing this coming from the marshmallow community beta?

I'm on 3.1.1 community build and I want to switch to 2.2.3.
I hope official M update will follow very soon, and some bugs appear now on the beta version (gestures do not work anymore, so does ambient display, and it begins to bé slower than the 2.2.2 !)

So basically I need to do a clean reinstall of the 2.2.2 and then apply the ota update.

Can anyone tell me how to do that ?
