Well Helen ACTUALLY said "We only support dirty flashing of this build using Oxygen recovery.

Dirty flashing (that means flashing the update without wiping data or factory resetting first) requires OxygenOS 2.2.0 or higher."
Therefor no wipe to do the dirty flash

HELP! After flashing the update the home button/fingerprint sensor stopped working. Tried wiping data, cache, and reflashing; still no home button/fingerprint sensor. :(

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance.

Tried dirty flash wouldn't boot, but it did work after "wipe data" but defiantly having issue with wireless, the signal is great but it seems to lag randomly.

Can't say much about battery yet.... but looks kind of the same.

    Technically it's not an OTA.

All good here dirty flash went smooth, I downloaded over mobile data, installed right from downloads folder in recovery, took about 10 minutes all up for installation, went back into recovery and wiped cache, rebooted all good, phone works perfect on the optus network here in Sydney Australia, all ui improvements work, camera is very snappy, sound all good, LTE perfect, everything as promised, only thing I would like is a dedicated systems SMS app.

    Thanks.

    no, just follow this
    1) Goto recovery mode (obviously twrp recovery).
    2) Clear (dalvic, system, data, cache) and not (internal).
    3) Flash the ROM, then flash the RECOVERY by selecting "install image" and selecting "recovery".
    4) Go back to main page of TWRP & Reboot and when it asks (system, recovery, fastboot), choose recovery.
Then you just wait, it will reboot back to the new TWRP (orange color).
    5) Now flash the ROM once again. But before flashing, must clear cache again like in step 2.
    6) Clear cache.
    7) Reboot now. it takes approx 1mins and shows new bootanimation.

Now, when you get Marshmallow page, set everything up like in starting. Then

    8) Flash SuperSU file via recovery to get root access.
