OxygenOS 3.2.0 OTA - SIM-Problem?

    Hi,

after updating to OxygenOS 3.2.0 OTA (got it in Germany), my two sim cards weren't recognized any more, allthough they worked before the update.

"SIM ist nicht erkannt oder fehlerhaft" (e.g. "SIM is not recognized or incorrect")

I tried to reboot, reactivate, to use just one of the cards, nothing worked :-(

Is there any chance, i can get it back working?

    Hopefully,
    Thomas

Update: The problem could be reproduced. When you have SIP accounts, the SIMs weren't recognized anymore.

Don't have that issue (Germany O2/Fonic), but if its true that its related to the update OnePlus needs to stop the rollout of the OTA

I have the same problem. I'm in Germany as well. I have one SIM card which worked without problems before. Now i get "SIM is missing or error" after the update to 3.2.0.

I restored the nandroid backup i took before the upgrade and my SIM card is working again in Oxygen OS 3.1.2.

    @Sam L @SoniaB @Carl @Helen
Thats a reason to stop the rollout or giving out a hotfix, if its not a provider problem.
But if its working with 3.1.2 I don't think it has anything to do with the provider

I was using Eplus (Base) and T-Mobile (Congstar). The SIMs are working in other phones, but not anymore in 3.2.0 :-(

No problem here in Germany, with a eplus and a vodafone Sim. Both new nano Sim cards worked before and work after.

I have the same issue, also on a German SIM
I also noticed that the phone gets quite hot in Idle, so I turned it off.
Also Settings -> About Phone -> Status does not work at all atm.

booting in safemode did not help at all
Bad first week for my OPT

@thomasstolz I have OP3 and AldiTalk/MedionMobile (E-Plus) card inside. How old are your SIMs? Could you provide some logs?

    SIM test:
    1) Dial *#808*
2 Go to "SIM card test", what does it say?

Also you could gather some logs
    1) Dial *#800*
    2) oneplus Logkit
    3) Check "save log"
    4) Try to reboot and see, if anything happens
    5) Re-do the steps and disable "save log"
    6) On your phone you will wind "oem_log" folger, zip it and upload it please.

If you need help rolling back to 3.1.2, I can help you, even in German.

Yes, it was very hot and with a strong battery drain. 1% per minute. Actually - after a Reboot it's cold again.

    My Card is new.
Phone is getting verry hot and partially slow. Provider 1&1, E-Plus. Update 3.2.0 from 3.1.2, OTA.

    When typing in * # 808 * and * # 800 * nothing happens.

Same problem here. Two SIM cards from Congstar and T-Mobile worked without any issue with OxygenOS 3.1. Now the phone indicates two crossed-through SIM card symbols in the notification bar and shows "SIM is missing or error" under Settings > SIM cards. Plus it is getting pretty warm.
