My phone drains battery in idle as fast as when browsing.

Browsing here for 6 minutes = 1% battery.
Phone on bag not using for same time = 1% battery.

    Doesn't seem right.

Yes, cache cleared and no backup service since day 1

I hadnt't considered wiping the cache after disabling it, thanks for the idea mate it seems to have solved my issue.
Well maybe not fixed but certainly less than 1/2 the drain it was. Instead of 1% every 5 minutes its more the 15. I think ill swap to a custom rom later today.

Just over six hrs and 14% left and a full day from 630am till 1215pm but I am trying out a custom kernel ElementalX now that it has dash charging and I would say there is an improvement but still only day one on this kernel so will see....i like it cos I can play around with and at the moment running on default settings.

    hello everyone!
i was having good battery performance till i updated to 3.2.1 after which battery performance got very worse.it gets discharged 10% in every 10 mins by only streaming music with headphones ON with screen OFF. the phone also used to heat up a lot during this time.i was so disappointed that i did a factory reset and has since updated to 3.2.2.
Though i am not yet facing such severe battery performance and heating issues,i am still not completely satisfied the overall battery performance when using the phone.idle performance is also not OK(10% discharge in 2 hours).
I have read online that this issue is due to google partial wakelocks. i hope oneplus brings an update to rectify this issue soon.
Since, this issue is not with every oneplus 3, I am more worried about whether the issue will be resolved by oneplus or not.
that's why i would like to know, Is anyone else also facing similar battery issues?

Yes i am too, Oneplus cant do much to solve this really. It will probably be a few days to a week before another patch, thought about custom roms? since they have Dash now it might be worth looking at.

Android OS draining ? = Google. we need 6.0.2

and use ForceDoze root or not.

ForceDoze doesn't solve the issue. Lose 5% per hour still with it enabled. I think it makes it worse somehow

if u enabled those permissions via ADB platform tool. forcedoze will then only work. unless you have root.
