for those that are still on 3.2.2, I recommend you to be patient and wait for other people to bring the bugs into light.

also this is an incremental OTA update, so don't expect to get it right away.

We are now getting into serious "potential deniability" management deliberations here.

To turn off Doze (just to be able to receive notifications in time) is not a fix. Its something they can point at to say - "we have done something", but the issue is still there.

Doze is a core Android system - why do we have to disable it on the Oneplus 3 to receive notifications in time?

Why is none of the dev team talking to us about this issue? Its a major one - it makes the phone not work as a phone.

It would help and reduce much of the confusion and negative sentiments out there if you could explain - why you cant get this working as it should.

If its an impossible issue for you to fix - at least tell us why. You are preventing the phone from working as expected, and give us workarounds without going into why you won't fix the issue.

What is the Doze bug? Not sure I've noticed it but I'd like to be aware of it so I can monitor and leave feedback.

    Cheers.

TLDR: Notifications sometimes will arrive hours late, reminders will go into negative time instead of having the alarm (you set) go off.

Only happens if the phone enters a special sleep state (Doze). Notifications that should go right through Doze - aren't doing that - things like that.

I think its not related to the Oneplus 3. I was noticing this behaviour before on the Samsung Galaxy S5. Notifications went through only when was unlocked.

Google Maps shortcut will be renamed after reboot
When placing a shortcut for destinations within Google Maps onto the desktop, its given name will usually contain the destination. In my case it is named "Gabrielweg". This happens on oneplus3 as well. But after a reboot the shortcut will be renamed to "maps". I am on 3.2.6. This behavior was in 3.2.4 before. No root and nothing. Bootloader is locked. It sheems it has to do with the Standardlauncher, because this is not happening with nova launcher.

No I did a typo there. "Common issues Doze, beattery, heating, sensor seem to be fixed." I have no problem with receiving notifications with the phone on sleep, and actually it's quite annoying sometimes. There was never a battery or heating issue for me tbh. My main problem was the ambient light sensor and that is fixed in the 3.2.6

Yet other phones dont have this issue.

So what do we do? Oneplus doesnt give any statements as to why this is happening or provide a fix, instead they introduced a hidden workarround for people to deactivate a marshmallow feature.

Now tell me, what parts of this sound right to you? And why should the majority if people out there life with a phone that cant do notifications correctly?

None of this is new, btw - we had a dedicated topic on the issue thats 120 pages long and ongoing.

As i mentioned before and to clarify: I had this issue an the Samsung Galaxy S5 and still having it. I'm on MM with the S5.
I don't have this issue with the Oneplus3. Neither on 3.2.4 nor on 3.2.6. Which means i'm fine with my OP3

As far as we know, everyone is having this issue on the Oneplus 3 - people just tend to overlook it most of the time.

Dont ask me why. I dont see any reason to cut Oneplus any slack over releasing a phone that has problems doing notifications correctly.

Four (?) months after its release.

All apps? WhatsApp is the only app which provides instant push notifications on my device. All other apps only show notifications when I power-on the screen.
Regarding your S5, does it happen on wifi AND mobile data?
