Doesnt it make some icons big in playstore ? btw which dpi is that 400?
Put the sim card on a other phone, remove PIN request and it is done ;-)
Remove sim lock if any , flash modded twrp then flash this build then flash modded twrp again before rebooting.
You need to have the sim on the phone to have that option. When you change it it is written on the sim card. Not a phone defenition
It's 400, the only icons that got a bit bigger were the verified icons.
The fix for SIM issue is as easy as set language to English(US) or Chinese(I guess) and then change back to your original language(this will work only until reboot).
I've already reported this issue so OnePlus can provide a hotfix. Let wish it comes as soon as possible.
As I didn't have any other phone to remove the sim lock, I installed 3.5.3 via adb sideload, removed the sim lock pin and then upgraded to latest and done.
So I just flashed 3.5.4 and fixed the PIN issue. However, I can't access recovery mode at all. After I draw my unlock pattern and the "decrypting" message pops up, it still denies access even though my code is right. So it seems like the only way I could access recovery is by tapping "forget password" and wipe everything?
I dont receive the update notification yet
Now its clear that oneplus has not added oneplus 2 in their Community Beta Program for regular updates.
Bcos they are not providing updates as per their Community beta update cycle.
Apart from this Sim lock issue, the builds looks much solid. Its fast and camera switch from front to back camera is improved. App launches fast now
My issue is same!
The 3.5.4 is crashing terrible in my phone. It starts and keeps flashing when I have to enter the sim-pin. I cannot enter it.
I can restrat and wipe cache and that does not help. This afternoon trying to put back the 3.5.3, this was working pretty well. By the way I have received the update by OTA.
As soon there is a sim-card present there is a problem. The phone works a bit without any sim. With wifi it works, but no calling of course. As soon as I switch off, insert sim and switch on the problem occurs again.
Thank you for the workaround. It helps. Deactivate the PIN for the SIM card!
Back to 3.5.3
Waiting till it is solved by oneplus.
It should be there as standard, so you don't have to remove it to let your phone work
Solution worked for me
Change language to English (US),
remove sim lock,
Change back to language you like
"important" it's relative, as you know
To make sure you understand the development business. Something is NEVER bug free.
As for new features... There aren't any new features in OOS 3.2.7 for the OP3 either (and the community build, that's just beta testing. Once it's stable it may be coming to the OP2 as well.)
Will it start flashing when you restart again?
Be happy with the amount of updates you're getting, srsly. Look at similar priced smartphones and the updates they've got...
